RealTunes includes a handful of public domain example files to get you started.
Starting in v2.0, RealTunes also allows you to add indexes (by title and composer) for many of your favorite fake books. Indexes are available for popular titles available in CD-ROM, digital download, and printed book form. RealTunes enables you to build and manage an almost limitless library of indexed PDF sheet music.

Version 2.0 is a major update and redesign of the RealTunes app.
Here are just a few of the improvements we have made:
· User Interface
You will notice right away that the UI has undergone an extensive redesign. Things have been streamlined so that you can get to your sheet music with less tapping on tab bars and buttons.

RealTunes now supports importing your sheet music files from a variety of external devices or servers, such as USB drives and other cloud storage providers. Any device or cloud service that you can access through the Apple Files app will now be available within the RealTunes app.

RealTunes 1.11 brings some important updates for AirTurn users. The AirTurn software (v4.1) now supports App Actions, which means that RealTunes is now able to provide custom behavior for the different switches on an AirTurn device. Six different actions are provided to make it a little easier to navigate around multi-page PDF files.

Support for the AirTurn BT-105 pedal has been restored. There is now a button on the top toolbar of the sheet music view for enabling/disabling the AirTurn pedal. If you have an AirTurn pedal connected, you can set the switch to enabled to make it functional. If there is no pedal connected, leave this disabled in order to avoid the issue of the virtual keyboard being displayed inadvertently in iOS 8.

Don't waste your money
This app is completely pointless. You pay $5 to download this app only to pay an additional $90 for the content (the 3 real books in PDF form). It's a complete waste of money especially if you already own some of these books in there physical form which you means you basically would be purchasing them again just to read it off a tiny screen

Great App!
I love this app and how I can study tunes while riding the train or in my down time when I'm unable to practice on my instrument. It also takes me to the iTunes store so I can hear other versions of the tunes. I have been turned on to a lot of different artists and have increased my music library. LOVE IT! Looking forward to updates.

Difficult to Load
You have to load tunes from Dropbox. So I paid to download all the Real Books online. I tried to transfer from Dropbox, but the PDF file names don't match this apps' designated file names so it won't load, leaving the app useless for me. Disappointed.

Useful and Fun App
Real Tunes is great. It is a lot of fun to discover forgotten songs in my library and hear new versions of these classics via iTunes. Sure beats having to lug around those books. Nifty integration with DropBox that works very well.

IOS 8.0 Completely messed up this app
I’ve been using this app for a long time. The IOS 8 downgrade put a keyboard in the middle of my songs and the keyboard won’t go away. I have a show tomorrow, and I’m having to print out songs the old way. Thanks a lot, Apple.
