RecallCue is a memory Day Clock and daily reminder app for seniors and people with dementia or cognitive memory decline. Aside from reminders for daily activities and daily schedules, we also have features to connect the senior to their caregiver and family members. Caregivers or family member can send instant messages, set recurring appointment reminders, share photos and more. You can also play nostalgic tunes via the Playlist feature and even have real time live video chat!
RecallCue works in two modes:
Connect (sender)- used to send messages, photos, and schedule reminders from your phone to your memory clock.
Day Clock (receiver)- used on a tablet and displays a clear easy to read dementia/memory day clock clock as well as any messages, photos or reminders received.

Extremely useful for remotely supporting parents through pandemic
This has been a godsend because I can help my parents with dementia, prevent them from missing appointments, forgetting certain dates etc. and we can send photos and audio stuff which I haven’t tried yet. I have the set up like it’s a picture frame on an old tablet.
It works great as long as you’re on an iPad that can run iOS version…uh..Not sure just check the requirements to verify that your iPad is supported.
To me this is well worth the subscription cost. The only thing I would like to lobby the developer to add is some sort of calendar sync or an email invite capabilities. This is so I could manage the calendar entries from my or my siblings calendars. This would help remove the pressure from me having to go in the RecallCue app to eyeball whether or not I have every calendar entry up to date.
Otherwise I have been looking for something like this for the last two years and couldn’t find anything so I’m super happy if this exists. I had even considered hiring a developer to make almost exactly this because it fills in a big void.

Amazing product!
Being able to support my aging parents with critical daily Information significantly reduces any minor confusion each day as memories fade. The ability to put scheduled items on each day allows them to know what is happening each day and instead of asking multiple times a day what the schedule is, they have it in a central place as the hub of information. This amazing product will allow them to stay in independent living longer which is a direct contributor to their longevity! Thanks!!!

The PERFECT tool for out of town family members
The "RecallCue Connect" app turns the already great "RecallCue Day Clock" into a FABULOUS, FLEXIBLE, MODERN, but easy to use tool for all family members - no matter where they live.
I LOVE that with "Connect" on my phone, I can add reminders to the "Day Clock" the instant the appointment is made (I don't have to remember to do it when I get home). All family members can put "Connect" on their phone and then add their own notes, jokes, photos to the clock. Family members can add a reminder of when they plan to stop by (I don't always have to be everyone's social secretary).
My husband isn't at the stage where we really need the music or the motion detector, but I can see where those features will be very useful in the future.
I went looking for a basic, programable clock and discovered the two RecallCue apps and together they are EXACTLY what I wanted and 100 times more!!!

Very Difficult to Use / Confusing for Mother
I thought this would be a godsend to help my mother in early stages of dementia, but the app is not easy to navigate. We just opened again today and the interface had changed and neither she or I can longer see the calendar I had created and we could see yesterday. Disappointed that I dragged my mother into this exercise.
