Redify App enable users to identify and avoid everyday product with toxic ingredients simply by scanning barcodes or typing product name/UPC in the search box, it then presents nontoxic alternatives for user’s consideration.
Redify also empowers users to Advocate for safer ingredients simply by pushing the Advocacy button. Toxic-free is the way to go!!
I came across this app and love this app, I am always looking for products that are natural or vegan/cruelty free because I have sensitive skin, and also just love natural products for what they stand for. If your thinking about downloading this app, go right ahead it’s really easy to use all you have to do is scan the product or enter the product name. And it will give you the information you need about the chemicals and the toxic ingredients that the product consist of. And give you alternative products you can use. What more can you ask for?!? And on top of that you get to advocate for those products and then get send anonymously to those huge companies that don’t have our best interests at heart. I know we tend to go for the popular products because it’s either easier, or look’s prettier and everyone is using it. But just imagine how your body will thank you, and how the environment will be a better place. This is a great app, and love what it stands for.

Very Eye-Opening and Convenient App!!!
My name is Gabriel, and prior to downloading this app, I was unaware that many of the well-known brands I was using contained tons of harsh chemicals that could potentially harm me and my loved ones. The way this app works is you scan the barcode of a product or enter the UPC, and the app tells you every ingredient used. If any of the ingredients are highlighted as red, then that means they are harmful. Thankfully, the developers of this app have extensive knowledge in this area, and for every product that you scan, it lists cleaner and safer alternatives that you can purchase. I’m very fortunate that I found this app, because otherwise I would have been damaging myself and the environment without even knowing it. I will continue to use this app and purchase the alternatives it suggests. This is a must have app that can change your perspective on certain brands and potentially save your life!!!

My name is Valentina, I just downloaded this app and honestly it opened my eyes. The other day I was with a friend of my that was telling me about this app and how great it was. He is really like a environmental guy and he was telling how he start using this app to see the amount of chemicals there was in the products that he was using. He told me that he got really surprised when he saw that some branches like Johnson’s baby had so many chemicals. After a got home and downloaded the app to see how many chemicals there was in my products, I saw that one of my sunscreen from Neutrogena had so many chemicals that I never know about. And that’s what I mean when I saw that this app opened my eyes, I’ll definitely use this app to check future products.

Very informative app!
When I first downloaded this app, I had no clue that many products I use would be listed. I didn’t expect brands like Johnson and Johnson to have harsh chemicals in their baby products. It’s shocking how I had never heard about these products being harmful to my body. This app is very detailed and well thought out. It shows the toxic chemicals in each product and also provides you with healthy alternatives to that product. It advocates for companies to do better and be clear with consumers about the ingredients they use. I honestly really loved this app and will make sure to use it to check future products I may want to purchase.

I'm glad I was recommended by a friend about this app. As someone who is serious on using products to take care of themselves, I always make sure that there isn't any toxic ingredients in them. Honestly think this a great app to be informative for everyone to understand the products that they are using. Disappointed
I was so excited to learn there was an app where I can list my own chemicals and be able to scan product to see if the product contains those chemicals. However, this app Doesn’t have the capabilities to list ingredients not already in the app. There is no choices for carba mix chemicals.. I thought this app would have more chemicals than what they offered or have capability to input your own even if it’s not on the list. Carba mix chemicals also have numerous other names…. Hopefully you can change your app where a person can input their own chemicals or the company can input the names of all chemicals that have potential allergens and their alternate names.

Amazing App!!!
I am very thankful for my environmental science professor Victor Okoh thanks to him, I was able to find this amazing app. I was very unaware of all the toxic ingredients in products that I use daily and was honestly shocked with my findings. Now I will be discarding certain products that are harmful thanks to this app. There are so many chemical ingredients that companies use in products that we use daily that we do not know are harmful for us. Thanks to redify I can know what is safe to use and whether or not it has toxic ingredients (CHCS) and advocate for the brands to remove the toxic ingredients from the product.

This tool has great potential but there’s some areas to improve
I overall I am very thankful to know about this app because of my environmental science professor but I feel like the app itself needs a little more work when it comes to the amount of products and brands posted. Often times there were no results for the products that I really regularly consumed so I was curious about a lot of products that did not go through. However, the application runs smoothly and I did not find it difficult to navigate so overall the design is not bad but there should be a wider array of brands and variety.
