@efficientearner,
So far, so good! Except for...
The functionality of the watch face is great. However, I think there is an issue when it comes to tracking calories and distance. I always seem to get outrageous numbers when it comes to that. I have used this app for 35 games and it has crashed 3 times (usually during my last game of the day).
Gracie334561,
Great watch for soccer refs
This is my first year using the app and I really love it. A couple of things I like:
-Large numbers. I turned 40 and now I need readers to see small print. The numbers on a standard watch were difficult to see. Thanks for the large numbers.
-Tracking of heart rate, calories and distance. Love the functionality even though the accuracy seems a bit suspect. I ran 6 miles doing a U14 girls match and ran 5 miles doing a U19 boys. I guess it could be true but it didn't feel like it.
-Connectivity to Apple fitness app. All of the data is sent right over.
-Multiple match times along with breaks. At the beginning of the match, it's a quick couple of taps to find the match length you want and start the clock.

Areas for improvement:
-I'd love to see an expansion of data about your movement durning a match. I realize when reffing a match, you are generally running in a zigzag but is still like to see it. A gps visual of your movements can help you determine if you are in the right positioning. A tracker with average speeds, top speeds, etc. that correlates with the match clock would also be beneficial.
-I've also had the app quit in the middle of the match. Keep working on getting the bugs out.
Ourstanley,
Good pre-configuration options, but seems to be a power hog
Got the app on Friday to help me keep track during my son's U5 weekend game. Tried it out on Friday - allowed me to set up a game based on 4 6 minute quarters, with appropriate breaks in between. On game day it certainly worked better than the standard Apple Watch timer function in keeping us on track. Still need some practice to get used to the press to end a period, then press again to start the rest period, but it's great that it keeps track of the sequence for you. Both Friday and Saturday my watch died in the early evening which it rarely if ever does - the only thing was that I ran this app, so it may be a bit of a power hog. I'll just need to remember to quit the app after use.
mrarick,
Great watch app for soccer referees
This app is a terrific replacement for expensive referee watches. There are a few bugs to work out, but for version 1.1, it's a great start. I love the ability to pre-configure games for different age groups and quickly select them at game time. The display is clear and easy to read during the game. The ability to accumulate stoppage time and remind me to restart if I forget is also great. I'm looking forward to future enhancements as this app matures, but I'm already using it on a daily basis.
O'Shea fitness,
Great except for distance
I love to use this has great dual face clocks going forward and backwards. Easy to set up multiple games.

But the distance I have issues with. It had me doing 5K in the first half of a U9 game lol. I’ve tried using only indoor setting and this is more accurate.
Phuryous,
Great App, but Crashes on my iWatch
I have an new iWatch series 3. I always wear 2 watches during a match just in case. Well I’ve needed my backup on more than one occasion when this app would crash and reset as if there was never a match in progress.

If there was a way for the app to either not crash or even regain match data with time continued, I wouldn’t be a wary about using this. Otherwise, this is a great tool.
Erin Lass,
Find App Glitchy
I find this app somewhat glitchy with how to start/pause/restart the timer. Rather than having to press watch screen to have access to managing the time, there should be a single touch screen button to control watch functions (start match, pause match, end half, etc.).
Shelbeyw,
Bugs
This app usually crashes at halftime for me. If it doesn’t crash, it will continually run and I can’t get it to turn off. I have had to turn my watch off twice to get it to shut off.
Great idea, just need these bugs fixed.
Also, I would suggest a feature where you don’t have to input a halftime interval. Many leagues vary and halftime is not always a set time period.
Disappointed MNF traveler,
Started off great! But an update happened...
Great app! But would love an end match button instead of having to go through to start and end halves and rest periods.
hector879,
Need an update for watchOS for series 5 watch
I just purchased a new Apple Watch Series 5 and this app is not compatible. I’ve used this watch multiple times and loved it! Would love to see an update to work with the current watchOS.
