• IMPROVED GOALS. Goals are crucial to success. Setting and tracking goals help students to learn languages. The goal is what drives motivation, what keeps you going when things get tough.
• WIDGETS. Setting goals helps trigger new behaviours. Goals guide focus and help sustain that momentum in studying. You can add two types of widgets: Word of The Day and Global Goals.
• IMPROVED NOTIFICATIONS. Practice even without opening the app.

Ajeburrah,
IGNORE THE NEGATIVE NANCIES LEAVING BAD REVIEWS
This app is DIFFERENT it is FUN it is UNIQUE and the people leaving one star reviews are probably looking for just another boring language app where we learn useless phrases that we will never use and then give up on learning.

I have *never* found any language learning app that i love more. I have *never* found any app this good for learning what *I* want to learn in a language not the rubbish words the app developer thinks are important *hard eye roll*

This app literally couldn’t be more perfect. I guess this is how you know you have a great product because some people will be raving fans (me) and others will be unable to comprehend how awesome the product is (because it is not for them and they need to go back to the same old same old boring apps teaching useless information).

I will be paying for this app with JOY because the developers are brave to try something new and give self-directed learners like myself what we actually need!

The only improvement i want to see in this app is the option to enable pinyin while learning Chinese. As a beginner, I find pinyin extremely valuable for listening and learning faster.

Much love y’all
kawii unicorns,
I hate it.
Honestly I hate the app. How do people use this, it doesn’t even teach you like how am I going to learn if it doesn’t even teach me it just throws me right into a game and expect me to know how to do it I am a beginner but come on I want to flashcards like oh this should teach me and I started I was like do you know this word so I guess for now and I’m like how am I supposed to know this if you haven’t even taught me or you just going to watch and then it’s the next day that you got one right 19 wrong that is another thing is why would you put swearwords in it what if kids are trying to play the game I mean I’m 15 so I get it but like come on event and asked me what does this word mean this for this for this one or this one and I’m like how my supposed to know again you’re not teaching me flashcards don’t help you’re not tired you’re not teaching me anything do not get this app I recommend you not to get it look for a different app sorry to the person who made this I just didn’t get how the app works and i’m just being honest.
ThereareOthers,
Easiest vocab builder I’ve seen
I appreciate that the app immediately adds new vocabulary Flashcards. This the sole reason I downloaded and purchased the app. As a language learner the redundancy of friction to: find a definition on google, migrate it to chegg, find the part of speech (as well as proper gender and spelling) and add this to the chegg flashcard... it made actually studying the card less of a priority. This app does all of that work seamlessly.

I can’t completely walk away from other flashcard apps, however. One immensely useful functionality I’ve found in other apps and have not found here is management of study cards for grammar and conjugation. Chegg has the ability to add photos of tables which seems to be a great solution if you never need to apply the grammar and conjugation to a sentence.
Benavides210,
The best app for learning Arabic
I really love this app. I’ve tried so many apps and this is the best, it’s not boring like the other language apps. First of all because I learn the words that I really need to learn (every time I start a new chapter I enter the new words). Secondly , because I am learning how to speak, read and write in Arabic. In a few days I have learned many new words, and when I know how to spell the new word it makes me happy. This app is just like a game, but I spend my time in a productive way. I am very thankful that I found this app. شكرًا
SaraHabla,
Not worth paying for
I’ve been using this app for a while to learn Turkish. The interface is clunky (words can’t be organized alphabetically, you can’t check if you’ve already entered a word, the translations are often somewhat off, etc.), but for a free app I didn’t mind the drawbacks or the poor aesthetics. Now that they are charging not only for new features, but have taken away some of the old ones (including the Word Builder game, which was helpful), it’s definitely not worth it. Check out CleverDeck instead - the flashcards you build yourself are free (and if you want to pay, the decks are created by language teachers so you don’t end up with the clunky machine translations) and the app is attractive and user-friendly. You can also import decks from Quizlet if you don’t want to build them all yourself. Remember is not up to par with the other free language-learning apps available and definitely not worth paying for.
Mr. Rachmunus,
Unhappy
I use an iPad Pro 13 inch with a keyboard. I never use it in portrait mode. Which is why I do not use apps which only display in portrait mode. This app is useless to me, because it only displays in portrait mode. Like many of us, I downloaded the app and triggered the trial period without realizing it. I am out ten bucks for the first month. $10/month is too much for what this app does. Especially since it only displays in portrait mode.

By the way, part of the blame for my ire goes to Apple. IOS should rotate all portrait only apps in landscape mode. After all, even squeezed into the vertical space of the screen on my iPad Pro, the app would still display larger than on the display of an iPhone. Also, although I have never designed an iOS app, I suspect that xCode provides insufficient warnings, if any, to developers that they should provide for the display of their app in landscape mode.
ndjxndjdkakal,
great app for vocabulary
i love the idea so much, it saves you a lot of hassle by creating the flashcards of the words you look up on it's own. i also love how the word you're learning is pronounced very clearly each time you flip through the cards. the themed card sets are also very useful, the app is an amazing idea in general.
however, i feel like the "out of energy" forced intervals are very annoying. i would much rather watch ads after each practice than have to wait hours until i can practice again. i can't really adjust my study schedule to the timings of the intervals.
besides that, being able to organize imported vocabulary into more sets than just the "translations" set would also be really useful. when learning multiple languages, all the looked up words go into the "translations" set, and practicing words from multiple languages at once is really inconvenient. the emojis on the flashcards are kind of unnecessary too but it's not that bothersome.
Dowasutia,
Good stuff!
I never knew why it had to be difficult to learn a new language. In my experience it’s been difficult to understand the reasoning behind formalities and technical devices in language but this app has certainly helped explain things to me that for years didn’t make sense. To that, I say thank you!!!
MG78759,
I wanted to like it but it didn’t work for me
I wanted to like this. It has nice features and pleasant design. But you can only make words progress to the learned category by completing all the test modes, and the speech recognition completely failed for me and there was no way to bypass it. So I couldn’t use the app. You should be able to customize which test modes you want to use. Also, the free mode doesn’t allow words to progress to the learned category, and the paid options are much too expensive.
Jamie Rainei,
Remember
Remember is awesome! I use it everyday, and it has helped me soooo much! To get advanced lessons, there is a monthly fee, but even without it, the app is awesome! Personally, I bought the fee, and it is definitely helping my Spanish. remember can also teach multiple other languages, such as Arabic and German. Overall, remember is amazing.
