Description

Beautiful and simple yet powerful practice reminders can be customized to arrive randomly or at scheduled intervals to help you truly integrate Presence Practice throughout your busy day.

Unique features include letting you choose when or how often the reminders come and which of the gorgeous alert tones you prefer. You can even create your own custom reminders.

*Alert: quit background apps you aren't using so they don't take needed memory away from Remindfulness. See website FAQ's for instructions.

** Alert: Be sure to VIEW or OPEN at least one out of every 64 reminders you are sent, or your device will prevent Remindfulness from continuing to send them.

FEATURES
- Over 100 beautiful practice reminders.
- 26 unique alert sounds + Random option.
- Sound on/off turns alerts off.
- Auto suspend and resume sleeps the app.
- Time reminders to come at regular intervals or choose random timing and select the number of reminders within your chosen time frame.
- Custom reminder editor for creating your own. (Then tell the app to use ours, yours or a mixture of both)
- Share reminders with loved ones via email, text message or on Facebook.
- Share app link via email, text message and Twitter.

NOTE: For best performance, please adjust your device's Notification Settings (Device >Settings >Notifications >Remindfulness)

You have learned so many ways to reconnect with your Source, to bring your attention to the Present Moment... If only you could remember to do them throughout your busy day!

The Remindfulness app is designed to run in the background and gently call you back to your truth throughout your waking hours. This extends mindfulness practice beyond isolated periods of meditation or spiritual thought. Woven into the fabric of your day, it can then become a real way of life.

Over a hundred simple yet powerful practices have been created so that you can perform them easily and in a space of no more than a few moments, often without having to physically move or even close your eyes. This is to facilitate doing them when they appear on your screen, no matter what else you might be in the middle of. Even if you can't look at the reminder to read it when you hear or see it come in, for example if you're driving or in a meeting, you can just use the awareness of it as a prompt to spend the next five or so minutes being as present as possible.

Customization features allow you to further control the way Remindfulness functions. You can choose whether or not you want to hear an alert tone when the reminders come up, or choose from several different ones if you do. You can choose whether you want reminders to come randomly (and how many you want if this is your preference, via the "frequency" setting), or at regular intervals from a provided selection. You can also suspend the app while you sleep at night, without quitting it, so that reminders automatically resume in the morning.

You can even write your own custom reminders and save them in a list. You can tell the app to draw from these exclusively, not at all, or shuffle them in with the app's preexisting reminders via the "Yours" "Ours" and "All" options. While you can't edit or view our reminders, you can always edit and view from the list of reminders you create.

Please enjoy Remindfulness. I created it to help me, throughout my day, to return joyfully to the present moment. I hope it will help you do the same.

*Remindfulness...Helping you remember to be mindful*

Bean_Town_Johnny,
Great app, but...
Wish it could be ported over to my Apple Watch so that the alert tone would work properly. Other than that, I would highly recommend it.
Cazimi,
Great app, works great on my Apple Watch
No matter what spiritual or personal growth practice you are working on, using this app will automatically foster immediate and discernible results. The thorniest issue with our highest intentions is bringing them out of the quiet garden of our practice space and into the unpredictable hurly-burly of daily life. Remindfulness elegantly and simply solves that problem.

The app gives you the option of creating your own reminders/affirmations/pointers and then randomly - you set how often one appears - you get the message, on phone or Apple Watch. It’s incredibly powerful to get a self-created message of wisdom or hope or empowerment and have it pop up when you’re being cut off in traffic, or doing the dishes, or watching The Crown.

This is an app that I have been waiting for. It’s a game-changer if you want to be supported in breaking old patterns and creating and reinforcing positive beliefs and behaviors. Highly recommend.
Suffers Nothing Gladly,
Does not use my reminders
The documentation advertises I can use my custom reminder text “exclusively”.

Well no. It’s not designed to do that.

No matter what configuration of text list you are allowed to use, the application *requires* you use “All” along with either “Theirs” or “Yours”. My results have been that even though I’ve configured settings to include “my” texts, I have yet to see any of my own.

The stated intention of the application is an important one, and I was eager to integrate it into my day. It always seems that working on myself is easier than remembering to work on myself, and that “alarm clocks” are necessary.

My own reminders work with the tradition I follow, and these are my “alarm clocks”. The only texts this application references suggest elongated exercises that require more focused time than just a reminder should take.
Original Nickname Argh,
Exactly what I was looking for
I wanted something that would allow custom random reminders and this fits the bill! It prompts me to move when I’m doing computer work and also reminds me to assess if I’m staying on the task.
WN8T,
Love this app!
This app is amazing. It "catches" me at random times and allows me to see what I'm thinking which affectscmy moods. At the same time it remonds me to be mindful. This app has helped me more already tham any of the other apps I've tried!
jhscha,
Sound isn’t working.
I’m looking for an app that periodically plays a gentle sound to remind me to be mindful.

I don’t want text reminders. Just a simple sound. But I could put up with text reminders if the sound worked. Unfortunately, even though I have sounds turned on, I hear nothing.
Bjkirchner,
Great Reminder app
This is a wonderful app that lets you create your own reminders. It is easy to use and wonderful! Thank you so much for creating it Naomi!
Soitsme,
Potential
It has potential
Reminder set up is done with a
Every ... 5 min, 2 hours etc
Does not have once a day
Or once a day at a specific time
Or specific times or days. Ok
That would be 4 stars
But decided to test it out as is
Tried every 5 min
Does not work. Checked to make sure all notification needs are correct. Still nothing. When you open the app the notification is there but it doesn’t notify you.
2 stars.
SGBLONS,
No sound
The random reminders show up as notifications just fine, but there is no sound to alert me, even though all the settings are turned on. Kind of useless.
Mister Tenderloin,
Ad version so intrusive as to be unusable
Every other tap resulted in an full screen ad or a dialogue asking me if I wanted to buy or both. I have up trying to figure out how I would configure the thing.
