The better you take care of your digital monster the stronger and happier it will grow. Feed your vpet, check its status, make training a fun game, give it vitamins, shower it, turn off the lights when it sleeps, have it battle in real-time!!
You will receive a digital egg, which will take one minute to hatch, after that your baby monster will be born, whenever he needs something, the alarm icon will turn on. It needs food to be full, vitamins to have strength, energy to battle, (energy will replenish over time).
Depending on how you take care of your buddy monster, and how much you train it, it will grow and have different evolutions. Raise your virtual monster with the right direction for the growth tree/chart monster you desire :)

Either there’s bad internet or no one battles
I’ve been playing this for about 10 days now and I’ve had fun with it so far, and I’ve even gotten my monster to the third stage; the only problem I have is the sporadic ability to battle. Every once in a while I’ll be able to battle people until all of a sudden no one will show up the rest of the day. If this issue gets fixed this would be an immediate 5 star but with the randomness of having the chance to battle (which you need to evolve later) I can’t give it a perfect number. I hope to see this fixed or at least explained and whether or not it’s even fixable

Won’t let me Battle
I downloaded the game last night and started playing this afternoon. My digimon evolved once after the 8hours over night and I’ve been training it however every time I try and do a ranked or unranked battle it will not work and gets stuck on the loading screen.
I had a friend with the same game try a battle and it worked for him so I’m not sure why it won’t work for me.
I thought it could be because I had bad signal in the area I was in so I waited until I reached an area with better signal and still had no luck. I have metro pcs as my provider if that makes a difference and my friend has ATAT.
The game would be great if I was able to battle. Unfortunately without being able to battle the game gets a bit boring plus I can’t get my digimon to evolve past a certain point. I’ve already messaged the RetroMon game page on Facebook in hope I can get this problem resolved soon so I will be able to battle. Curious if others are having this problem as well.

90’s Kid Nostalgia-hella dope!
So I downloaded this app on a whim. Thinking it wouldn’t be anything like the generic retro pet, I bought from some off and chinese market store at the young age of 8. But its exactly like it!! Wow. What a great way to travel through the fibers of time and feel like a kid again. Well done Dev! Well done. I just have one small complaint. Will their be support for bigger screens? I currently take care of my cyber pet on a IPhone 7plus. And while the small screen makes the experience all the more authentic. I was hoping for a future update where at least the outside borders fit the screen...anyway. Other than that. Great app! So much so its worth removing the ads!

Awesome game... but a waste when I can’t battle
This game is fantastic, but I cannot get a battle. I’ve tried WiFi, no WiFi, only WiFi, and have had no luck for three days. If I am unable to battle, a prerequisite for best evolutions, then this is pointless. I’ve looked everywhere and see nobody get responses to this same question. Please provide a response on inability to locate any battles despite days full of hours searching... if fixed, then this is a five that all my friends are getting into again.

I’m a kid again!
The ‘90s...oh how I miss you. Times were easier. People didn’t seem as mad as they are now. And this app puts me smack dab in the middle of that wonderful decade! This is just like the original and I highly recommend for new and old users alike. Ads aren’t that annoying (usually short, 5 seconds or so). Only thing I have to say is that the multiplayer is hit and miss when I search for opponents. I can never seem to find anyone to play. Not sure if that happens to anyone else but hopefully it’s something easily fixable. Even so, perfect app. 5/5!!!!

So much potential.
I loved the old digimon keychains in the old days. My friends and I always raised them and battled between classes which was the big draw from the experience. This app does a good job of emulating the old school feel but I and many others judging by reviews can’t seem to get the online battles to work. This not only takes the biggest fun from the app but also makes it impossible to get certain evolutions. On top of that there’s an ability to pay to receive a certain evolution, which feels like pay-to-win to me. If they took those out or at least made the battle stuff work it would be great, but as is it’s just a waste of potential.

Best Virtual Pet game on iOS
Thank you for developing this virtual pet game. The care isn’t distracting or overly complicated like some games are. Online works great for me too.
I have two ideas that would make this game even better: first would be for a widget so users can see their pet and their status without having to open the app. I’d pay for an feature like that! Second is a way to return to the online lobby after a b-power fight

Super great... but battle?
I’ve never felt compelled to review an app until now, with the sole purpose of adding tinder to the flames of pushing the developer for an update to the battle system. The app is flawless otherwise! Terrific adaptation of the original all the way down to the crisp sounds. But without the battles working, you can’t ever digivolve to Ultimate. Please update the battle mode or at least post an update on the Facebook page to keep us informed of the progress if you’re already working on it.

Great game!
Absolutely love the game! I’m big on vpets and specifically Digimon and this is awesome! Love the fact that I can even see care mistakes and that there are so many different options. One thing I do wish is that the game were able to better connect with friends and like a share feature since I have been getting my friends into the whole vpet thing so I’m not the only one XD

I love this game
This game is amazing I love that there is so many eggs to choose from and they all hatch into different kinds of monsters. I love that I don’t have to get a little Digimon console for 20 dollars at Walmart but instead I cal just download this app and I don’t have to worry about missing out on anything.
