My favorite game

This game is actually amazing, I love it! Idk if I can say it’s like dark souls combat and difficulty wise but it is pretty hard. The game will definitely test your skills and that’s something I love about the game, there is a grind but not like a big grind like most other games, just small upgrades that honestly help a lot to your weapon arsenal and a few other brief rpg elements, and once you get better at just playing the game while getting a few of those small upgrades, that’s really all you need cus the game is about skill and I love it. You have to be patient and strategic when you strike and parry. It’s honestly an amazing game and I full heartedly recommend it to anyone who wants an actually decent mobile game that isn’t a cash grab or pay to win, you can play it for fun or a time passer, and once you beat the first stage thing it opens a new one with a much harder difficulty but still lets you play the original stage while giving you a bonus game mode, idk I’m probably rambling but it’s a really great game! Just wish there was maybe blood splatter or a few gore effects but I understand cus then it might have to be 17+ and less money and stuff, but yeah download this game, I promise you won’t regret it!!!

Pretty nice

Question, is there controller support? No right? Just making sure, anyways if you do somehow add it for whatever reason that would be cool. Just keep updating it how you are. Honestly great game. Maybe tone down a bit on the pay to win, maybe make it easier to get gems, and remove special mission. Why not just make them more difficult? Maybe all these passes and stuff are for you to earn money, but I just find them a bit of a nusciance. And I only mean these things, not anything else, anything else is fine. If not taking out special missions, maybe have more missions to do? Idk, either way its a fun game. Thank you for not putting an ad in my face every run, or everytime I go to the menu. People love that.👍

Mixed Evolution

I’ve been with this game since very early on. It’s gone from something solid & simply enjoyable to something pulling in 2 directions. On one hand, the different modes & options have become quite robust. On the other, payouts have gotten reduced by splitting some daily goals behind a paywall. The weapons have been nerfed & the skills split up so you end up with less after the recent mastery/skill changes.

You’ve essentially got more to do, earn less, & have become weaker after more recent changes. If you value your time, this is detrimental, & it’s been about 6 months since it’s been my main game. I still pop in maybe once an update or 2, but because I can’t earn like before, I barely play. It’s a shame, but it seems like the natural evolution of every game figuring out how to make money & retain peoples time for longer.

It’s not a bad game, it’s great. I just see it takes more time/money to get the same results as before.

Really Great Game

This game is great, This game is especially great for the dark souls kinda crowd. I love read react based combat like for honor and this caters to it so well. Bosses are fun and have unique movesets new enemies are introduced with each chapter and old enemies get updated movesets and the such. The game has an energy system but most of the time you level up and full restore your energy before you run out. I haven’t encountered any bugs to speak of. This game is probably pretty easy if you dump money into it so if you want a challenge I recommend you dont buy a ton of gems and kit yourself out. However do drop a good 5-10 for the devs amazing work because they really do deserve it

Fantastic Game

I’m not usually one to write reviews, but I’ve actually really enjoyed this. The combat is complex enough to be interesting, but not too complicated that it becomes hard to execute on a phone. The fact that this game is free blows my mind. 90% of free games on the AppStore rn are just idle rinse and repeat games that get boring almost immediately, but for the first time in like months this is a free game that’s really challenging enough to get me to keep playing while not feeling like I have to buy IAP to advance faster. 10/10, awesome game in my opinion. Also the art is dope!

Best samurai game on phone

This game has nice moves, combos and many combat elements which are nicely done i really like the graphics its different from every game and thats nice. It would be nice if devs make more combos and not only on combo on each sword. If they add some unlockable moves, gameplay would be more exciting and nice to watch. I’ve played enough to see much bugs but no after all this time i only had problem with only 1 bug which stole me 300 gems. Its chest bug where u are about to buy and when u click, the error pops up on screen every time u click to buy i mailed support like 2-3 days ago i hope their respond don’t take long so yea besides that little bug game is so good for mobile.

Potention almost there!!

I started the game about two hours ago and from playing I have a few suggestions, Firstly the game design is right there! It has the potential but the clunkinest of the game controls ruins it alot firstly the block and movement button is the same meaning you're always going to fail your counters many times why isn't there just a seperate movement button? Secondly, many times the block button doesn't work because you're moving with it and when you try to block it doesn't everything is basically there manybe redesign how the controls are and I'll probably and many other like it! :)

Worth A Download

I never write reviews for mobile games but this one really kept a lot of my time. The gameplay is smooth, and you only get better by playing more to learn timings. The in-app purchases are helpful if you want them but the game doesn’t punish you for not having used them. Most of the in-app purchases simply speed up progression for those who don’t want to grind a lil bit. The art style and audio design alone is reason enough to give this game a try. I’d highly recommend trying it out.

Sekiro

It’s just 2D Sekiro. If you like Sekiro, you’ll like this game. That’s essentially it. Tight combat, challenging and demanding gameplay, and a good loot system. It’s very well done, requiring quick reaction times and putting its own spin on mechanics from Sekiro. The art style is great. It’s not pay to win. My only two gripes are the fact that it can be clunky with the movement, as well as the fact that it’s Sekiro. It’s slightly changed of course, but still it’s Sekiro. Not even really inspired by. I’d like to see it branch out and form its own sort of identity, but currently it’s just Sekiro Lite.

Good until it wasn't

It was fun for a while, the difficulty was challenging at times, but manageable, until it wasn't. The inability to move the block and attack button around through settings coupled with their awkward placements and sometimes unresponsive nature has caused the difficulty of the game to spike SIGNIFICANTLY. Also the fact that the parry windows for the later stages are literal .005 seconds and some attacks are impossible to counterflash makes this game infuriating for no reason. Once changes are made to at least being able to modify WHERE i can place the buttons or modifying the counterflash to something manageable I'll consider redownloading.
