Already have an existing family tree in another program or website? Now you can simply export your tree into a GEDCOM file and then import it into Roots! Email yourself the GEDCOM file, then press&hold the attachment icon and select Roots in the popup window.
Now you can share your work with family and friends who also have Roots! Simply press the "Share" button and email your project. The project can be opened in Roots by holding down your finger on the attachment and then selecting Roots in the window that pops up.

Wonderful app
I love the application. The app don't offer any information for the public system like ancestry but I try the ancestry app and didn't have any information anyway about my family.

Not iPad friendly
Only displays the screens in vertical position. I use a keyboard in my iPad... totally useless unless I want my neck crooked to read the screen. Doesn't appear that this program will take a gedcom. Sad. Could be so useful if it could. All in all, not ready for prime time.
