Rotoworld Fantasy Player News Hack 1.4 + Redeem Codes

I don’t write reviews very often, so feel free to take what I say with a gain of salt.
I’ve been using the site, back when it was called Rotoworld, and the app as soon as it became available. It’s the absolute best way to get immediate information on players. Aggregating news and information, from local and national sources, in one place that would normally require you to search endlessly for. It’s beyond impressive and something I always recommend to friends.
People ask how I know about xyz players all the time… because I read this. That’s it.

Things I’d most like to see in v2:

-ability to click directly on the player name and see all the blurbs for that player aggregated-without having to search them. Could potentially also include stats like on the website
-dark mode!
-smarter search. Right now it seems to be purely alphabetical rather than prioritizing the bigger names
-ability to favorite an entire team to get alerts on all players on team
-ability to filter on injuries and transactions specifically like on mobile web
-would be nice to be able to unfilter off any specific sport to see the biggest headlines across all the sports universe, just like you show on mobile web
-Should show player headshots on main feed too!
-Please show the source tags. For example- per Adam schefter (Twitter) . Being able to click them and open an in-app browser on top would be a nice add
-slightly bigger or bolder text for the blurb details
-auto hide some of the top-bar as we scroll for more screen real-estate
-when fetching more blurbs, show load-spinner at bottom rather than overlaid on top of entire feed which locks up being able to read the news

I think I check this app for NFL player updates at least 50 times per day. It really helps me get the latest news & get players off the waiver wire before my competitors once I hear about players being out.

Love this player profile app. Keeps me up to date on what’s happening with offensive players and helps me know who to target or drop from my team. The only thing is adding more player updates. I know there are more than 5-10 player updates on certain days. It would be nice to hear what local beat writers are saying about players and prospects. Rotoworld MSN used to have an app that gave tons of great insight on players. This app is great just wish they gave more updates.

Rotoworld has been the premiere fantasy news app for years now but it seems like NBC does not care about it, going as far as to end the initial app entirely. The interface has gone through so many iterations including this new terrible name change but admittedly this one does look and work the best. Normally I would give this 5 stars but it has not worked for an entire day and that is a major problem during baseball season. Using the site on a web browser is terrible and a major reason why the app is so necessary. Please care more about this tremendous app and ensure it’s quality and functionality!

This app is great for fantasy sports and I use this and their website every year because of it. However, I rate this app only 4/5 because the push notifications for your player news do not work, and you only get notifications about their livestreams and podcasts. If the notifications worked correctly, it would have 5 stars.

The app is generally pretty good: easy to use and nicely designed. The info is somewhat useful but the embarrassing amount of mistakes (saying someone is left-handed when he’s not or plays for the wrong team or faced the wrong team...) is amateurish.

UPDATED REVIEW: the developer responded to my review that updates have fixed technical issues. That confirms my criticism about sloppiness and inattention to details.

Too many things to list, and admittedly some of my issues have nothing to do with the mobile app itself. But regarding the app, the comically small and stupidly light font on the player update text is enough to warrant a 2 star rating. How can something so poorly conceived make it into production? Please just make the text easier to read. Is that too much to ask?

The most annoying part about this app is that you can’t filter out the college teams from the NFL… I don’t want the college player updates… I only want NFL but when you select NFL it brings up the college players too - they never had that before but a recent update makes it impossible to change. You people need to FIX this bug - find a way to remove college from the NFL updates - it’s stupid

No communication from app developer on why it’s broken. Looks like the new owner is called TeeOff Media. Unsure if they’re just a subsidiary of NBC, or if new, when they took over. Regardless, developer had shown absolutely zero respect for the loyal fans that use this app daily. This move screams of a redesign/redeployment, which often involve a paywall and if that’s the case I won’t be redownloading the app. Thanks for nothing, you’ve TickedOff a lot of people.
