obiwanda,
DO NOT USE APP TO RELOAD YOUR CARD
DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT reload your card using the app. Your credit card will be charged, but it entirely hit or miss whether the credits will actually appear on your game card. Here’s what happened to me: I used the app to reload my game card. My credit card was charged for the reload. The game credits “show” in the app, but not on the actual card when I actually go to play a game in-store. I talk to the store employees, who tell me I am not the only one this has happened to and the app is unreliable. :( Because the app is run by a third party developer, there is nothing the store employees can do to fix the situation and the store tells me I need to contact customer service for the app or dispute the charge with my bank/credit card company. Ok fine. Except there is no email or customer service number to contact Round1 (note - the phone number on their IG just goes to a store location in So-cal). So the only option is to submit their web-based form through their website and hope and wait someone responds (still no response 2 days later), or to file a charge dispute with my credit card. Such a pain and waste of time caused by an app that doesn’t work properly. Seriously, Round1 needs to disable the reload function until they can get it to work properly. Not happy.

Membership Perks Locked Behind Not-Working App
I read the reviews on this but took a gamble anyway since it was only $5.00. I downloaded the app and have the most up-to-date iOS but the icon won’t open past the red logo page. Tried deleting and redos loading, etc. nothing works. Their troubleshooting page just redirects to their website which has no troubleshooting that I can find. Just the perks of the membership and app…which are inaccessible if you can’t access the app. It looks like they’ve had this for at least 3yrs so I’m almost impressed by how shoddy it is. I’d really like to use my membership and accrue points by visiting, but I’m afraid that if I can’t get points for visiting, I am probably not going to visit at all. I have many better places to spend my money and time than companies who lock things like these behind tech walls then do not ensure that they work properly.

Customer Feedback?
Looked like the coolest place ever, smiling first impression and all, then somehow spent 35 combined in 3 minutes, i played a machine like 4 times and that’s already $6 at least then lost $20 out of those machines for loss only machines right, no good force on claws don’t really care about that everyone knows that. Got an unlimited pass and didn’t even care to use i didn’t even play once the games just saddened me, but that’s me and when asking for help kept putting me with the same disabled worker, nothing against them but they struggled alone and time consuming just for the workers stand there and chat most the time, in the corner area 🫤 but attended everyone else so just walked out not smiling within 20 minutes being there of wanting help majority the time or assistance for refusals.
Someone Dissapointed,
This feels intentional
They make the club membership seem like a great deal in the store- only $5 to sign up for the whole year. But to sign up you have to download this app and register, which is clunky and terrible. Then even if you get past that, the link they give you in the store only lasts 24 hours from when you paid for it. There’s no reason for them to only give you a single day to sign up when it’s something you *paid for* already. This all feels very intentional. I think these things are designed to frustrate you so that you pay for the membership and then can’t use it.
Lockett18,
It works, but lacks features.
The app will do the minimum it says it will. It’s great if your a club member to get coupons. (Though the staff often struggle to redeem the coupons because of lack of training). It does a good job of keeping track of your membership level. But again they could add more features. The locations that you can reload at are limited. I have my card linked to the app but my location isn’t available as a primary one. Other than that it does what it says it will. Would love to see more benefits for club members!
ZamDav,
Do not use this app
Please use the in-store kiosks to add funds to your stuff. I spent an hour trying to talk with the staff at the Burbank round one because the transaction did not go through properly. They were unable to help and because of this I have to contest the transaction with my bank.
Developers if you are really reading this please make sure that you are testing your stuff before you are sending out in this embarrassing condition it will save you and customer frustration.
Wuster32,
Broken and Insecure
When trying to sign up, the connection consistently fails. The few times I've made it past the inital sign up screen, the email verification link times out by the time it reaches my inbox. When asking for a password it only allows up to 8 characters, but does require me to store real personal information or else my account may be banned.

Overall, they need to hire a real person or company to develop this app if they expect it to replace their in-store stamp system.
Alpha Pinoy,
Clunky
The app shows up to date features at the chosen arcade but the app is extremely slow and clunky. The controls for the menu are also relatively tiny and is difficult to read due to the tiny font. Just hitting the back button is also quite taxing as the page doesn't load fast, sometimes even slower than the page you backed from.
ThatMacGuy775,
It’s all broken!
Round1 USA has many issues aside from its app being broken. But what’s the use of an app to link to your card in order to reload or check point balances when it doesn’t work and hasn’t for quite some time? Locations have management that thinks they know the way to run the location and that too is broken. Machines are often half-working. This is FAR FROM a Japanese experience brought to the States. Please fix it all! *bows politely*
PikoChronos,
I can’t even create an account!
I’ve tried several times now to make an account to register my card but every single time I run into the same problem, I enter all the required information it asks me for and then it won’t let me continue and if I’m doing something wrong it’s not telling me that. I tried to make an account on the desktop site and I couldn’t find anyway to do that there so I’m force to try to get this junk app to work.
