RoundPier - Laya,
RoundPier Review
This app has honestly been one of my favorite ways to feel prepared for my future. There are discussions and groups to join, resources for a plethora of things, general information for college admissions and high school, tips and tricks for students and a great way to find quality opportunities. It is easily navigable and has lots of helpful content to explore! I love the opportunities that RoundPier themselves have, whether it's competitions or internships, they are quality opportunities which I think are not only useful and fun, but also provide help for other areas of life! The global aspect of it truly makes a lot of difference and I love to not only get to know people from around the world but also organizations and areas which connect to my interests through an international lens. I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially to those who are going to college as the posts and articles are super helpful for ambitious students. 10/10
Micky Macky Booo Baa Boo,
RoundPier is awesome 5/5 ⭐️
So I have been using the platform around RoundPier for a few months now.

I am an upcoming senior in high school, and at the end of junior year is when I really understood the weight of extracurriculars in high school admissions. I was uber worried because high school was 3/4ths the way done, and I felt like I had barely thought about extracurriculars, or put enough effort into mine.

With RoundPier I was able to get connected with a lot of different organizations, initiatives, and groups that not only
"check the box" for extracurriculars, but help me find topics that I was really interested in.

What I like most about round pear is the ease of access when you use it. It's very easy to set up your account and to look at other people's accounts and opportunities. Opportunities are always out there and you just have to open the app and look.

RoundPier has a lot of sub-initiatives of their own like their podcasts and magazine, while reading those have been very entertaining and educational. I've started recommending RoundPier to a lot of my friends because I think so many people can benefit from this app.

I usually try and leave some sort of critique that could help the app get better, but nothing comes to mind with this app.

Thank you RoundPier, this platform is so important to me!
Bethie 💗,
Unique High School Platform
I’ve had the app for a little over a month now, and I can truly say it is nothing like any of the other educational apps of its kind. Unlike other apps, this platform focuses specifically on junior high and high school students instead of mostly college students. I’ve met some really successful students and organization founders that are willing to share their stories and experiences with other students on the platform.

The amount of opportunities, student groups, and articles is amazing. I’ve already started my own student group, and I’m planning on starting more in the fall for some of my school’s clubs! Especially when some students aren’t able to go to school physically right now, RoundPier’s school clubs and student groups are the best way to stay connected.

RoundPier is definitely my favorite high school app. I will be recommending it to my high school counselor soon!! 😁

RoundPier has given me so many opportunities to further my extracurricular list and find highschool opportunities. I have been able to network with so many students around the world, receiving help in every possible aspect. I’ve stumbled on so many RoundPier student profiles of those who have participated in similar activities, or someone that has achieved a high score on a test that I need advice on. I can even build my college list, which I have been procrastinating for a long while. RoundPier makes it so easy to be a successful highschool student, and provides all the resources you need. From competitions, clubs, the community, and potential internships/programs, I have made the most out of RoundPier and you should too.

Needs Some Improvement
The idea of the app itself is amazing. I feel like with progress and development, this app could skyrocket. Schools and educational institutions can take advantage of this app to better their students. Who knows? Maybe students will begin to genuinely achieve more awards and such.

Here’s the thing though. There are many errors that present themselves throughout the app. City names aren’t capitalized, words are misspelled, and the overall formatting of the app (in my opinion) is more complicated than it needs to be. If it were to work more like a social media app, perhaps it’d look more aesthetic. That’s simply my opinion, though. Changing the formatting to fit a social media aesthetic could cross a dangerous border; however, transforming into a simplistic style would appear more pleasing. (Again, my sole opinion.)

If the developers are reading this, please take note that professionalism is key for RoundPier’s success. I’d love to present the idea of implementing this app for my school, but it simply isn’t reliable. No one would trust a scholarly app that contains more than a handful of spelling errors. Formatting? That’s different and relies on personal opinions. Spelling errors? That’s a major red flag for any education-based app.

I’d love to see where this app heads. What I’ve mentioned up above is my personal opinion, but I hope the developers of RoundPier take it all into consideration.
Lidbliss 😊,
Met some wonderful people
My favorite part of RoundPier is the students who use it. I became part of a philosophy podcast, started a club, and joined a few organizations through RoundPier and the fellow high schoolers I've worked with are just amazing. They are intelligent, chill, funny, and hardworking.

There are always new opportunities posted by student organizations to be a leader or member. Because many of those types of posts looked for marketing directors, I realized my interest in marketing. I finally figured out what I wanted to do in college (before that I was lamenting in my "I have no idea what the heck I'm going to do" state).

The app itself needs some work. One strange thing that often happened to me is I'd be DMing Person A, but in the same feed for Person A the newest message from Person B would pop up.

That isn't a big deal because I see RoundPier's main purpose as the initial connection to a potential team member or friend. After connecting on RP, we'd use Slack, WhatsApp, etc as our main communication method.

I'd recommend RoundPier especially if you're an organization or someone:
- looking for team members/directors
- seeking volunteer hours
- wanting to start a club/org
10/10 Experience,
Roundpier review
round pier is a great program for highschool students looking to increase activities on their college applications. Round pier has helped me gain so much knowledge on what I want to do, and my college major. Over the past month, as round pier is still going I have learned so much from these college and business men, that it makes me want to learn and do more with this program.

socially, round pier is an amazing way to meet new students, as the staff and students are very very sweet. Before learning round pier, I didn’t know how to work as a team. After joining round pier, I learned how to work as a team and become a leader.

Overall, round pier is an amazing way to communicate and learn from others.
@grace246,
Great platform for everything academic/professional
I’ve had the RoundPier app for a handful of months now, and can say that it’s a great first-stop platform to go to when looking for opportunities for middle/high school students. I especially find the Eduniverse tab has helped me a lot, as it’s organized into different categories depending on what you’re looking for. With how it’s organized, I’ve been able to easily go through the categories of internships/volunteering, competitions, student organizations, etc. to find what I’m looking for. Would recommend for anyone who’s interested in finding/sharing opportunities to students as it has a very diverse and global user base.
klindse,
Great for High School Students!!
This is the perfect app for high school students who want to improve their college applications. There are hundreds of clubs, student organizations, and volunteer opportunities. There is also a fantastic sense of community, the community is always active and when you ask for advice in the channel you usually get responses from students and RoundPier, their interns, or their executives. It’s kind of like social media for education without all the pesky notifications. Overall, this is a great app, would totally recommend for people who want opportunities to academically challenge themselves.
