IPhone app great, Watch app is not intuitive
I did not understand how to use this on my watch. However because the screen is so crisp and easy to see in full sunlight I set it up on my boat to use as real time display. And it is great. I think because it’s real time that’s why it’s not great on the watch. Maybe the watch is just supposed to send data to a phone. The calibration on the stroke reader on the iPhone is really good, much better than another app I tried. I got excellent real time data my other apps only give me upon review. So this would be 5 stars if I could export the data, which I found stroke by stroke listed under recordings. Also if there was a better how to help section.

Works pretty well for SUP
Overall, a good app for the price. Amazingly, it measures stroke rate for stand-up paddleboard but I wish it had a ‘SUP’ option from the drop down menu. Also, other than the confusing text datalog, there’s no easy way to save and review workouts. I’ve tested 4 other ‘rowing’ apps for SUP with the goal of measuring stroke rate and this is the only one the actually works.

Stroke rate and pace are accurate. I like the real time feedback for my coach while rowing on the water. I would like an analytic tool after the session is completed “Garmin like”.

This app does not work on a stationary
Contrary to the information contained in the document this app does not work with a stationary rowing machine. Also if you use it with Apple Watch the app takes over your display so that you have to shut it off every time you want to look at the watch to see what time it is and you have to shut the watch down in order to get it to stop displaying.
