Good Old School RPG
This game has been addictive so far, and pretty fun. The creators added some nice innovation to make it interesting. When characters talk you can read a subtext in another color showing what they think in the context of their statements. You can also shape the growth of your characters by helping them learn abilities. The story does well at developing strong personalities in your friends, but has kept some mystery as to the motivation of the villain (though there are hints along the way). Even with multiple new style apps around, I find myself more interested in playing this one, and it works offline which can help. While I don't see a multiplayer element yet, I think this is a fun game and worth a try if you like old school adventure RPGs.
Shea Ohmsford,
Solid JRPG!!!
Having fun so far. Battles aren't too bad. I'm playing Hard mode and I don't find it too challenging. I may bump it up in difficulty.
Battles are pretty straightforward. The party leader for both your team and the enemies can have an effect on the other members such as speed up.
There is a bit of exploration that isn't too hard to navigate.
The main negative is that there doesn't seem to be a decent explanation of how magic works. You can learn spells of various elements by equipping rings of said element. However, I have no idea how to switch to spells of those elements. For example, the main protagonist learned Heal, but it's not a part of his original element. I have no idea how to use it. It doesn't come up when I choose spells. It shows up in his status though.
Other than that, it's pretty enjoyable. Fun and lighthearted. Choose the hardest difficulty though or after the first dungeon it'll be too easy.

Meh like
Imma be honest with y'all I played this game when hurricane Harvey was here in H town and it was acutely good even better than expected the background and storyline was great since it had so many endings I think 8 or 10 at least and the artwork for battles was good and when the girl to write a review it was so kawwai so yeh I'm planning on playing the squeal to this game tomorrow I hope this review helped you PS if you turn off your wifi the ads aren't so bad when playing this game hope you all enjoy it - Max
GameReviewer Mk,
Fun, but isn’t actually free
This game is great and all, but becomes basically unplayable halfway through unless you pay 8$ to continue.
It’s simple enough, as it starts making ads appear, which I understand. They need to make money somehow. However, the consistent banner ads cover up ESSENTIAL information, such as health bars, and i can’t even use and Ad-Blocker or airplane mode to get rid of the ads, as the game (which your supposed to be able to play offline) fails to load anything without WiFi, as its trying to show you an ad.

So yeah, a game that cheats you out of playing it once things actually start getting really fun. If the ads weren’t placed over the FREAKING health bars, so I could actually play through the battles, then I would have given it 4 or 5 stars!
RandomM8,
Really Great
The Story, gameplay, characters, etc. is all amazing but just don't like how they force us to pay for an Adblock to take the perpetual ad off the screen once you get to the middle of the game. It's a little problem but it IS an annoying one as is blocks a pretty big spot on the screen. The game itself though, it's VERY good. I'm not finishing this game cause I'm OCD and the Ad at the top really makes my uncomfortable but the characters, story, design, etc. is all so beautiful that this isn't a game you would want to pass up. Give it a try, it's really worth it. It's such a great way to pass the time.
The biggest fan of OTM ever,
Best RPG on Appstore
Its very difficult to find good games on mobile, but this is hands down the best game I've ever played.
1- It has an amazing storyline, something that leaves me craving the next entry.
2- There's a lot of comedy included in the dialogue.
3- The characters are very loveable and its easy to get attached to them.
4- Following anime tradition, the main character is very dense but hot.
5- There's plenty of different ways to fight, and the abundance of items makes it easy to keep your characters going for a long time.
6- Despite its micro transactions, its not ptw. The difficulty can be changed anytime in the game in case its too difficult or not challenging enough.
7- It has multiple character control methods to cater to both kinds of players- tap and d-pad.
All in all this is one of the best games I've ever played, and to top it all off, its free!
CloydHunter,
Fun and free.
The thing about a KEMCO game is that you can always bet it will be entertaining at the very least. I’ve yet to play a game from them that I felt was terrible. Yes, the storylines can be somewhat predictable at times, but the character development and the banter between them is always great and never fails to bring a smile to my face. Did I mention they were also FREE? That’s right. A full JRPG for free. What else can you ask for?
jimboaswell,
Too much talk
The game is fun to play. It’s sort of like the old Final Fantasy rpg game. However, I only gave it four stars, because there’s far, far, far too much trivial, meaningless dialogue between the characters. After a while you simply start touching the screen as fast as you can to advance the dialogue windows. Sometimes you will get so bored with the never ending trivial dialogue that you will stop playing and go to a more interesting game. Again, too much trivial dialogue!
Foarde,
Surprisingly Excellent
Probably one of the best mobile RPGs out there. Combat system is reminiscent of FF while optimized for mobile and a lot of fun twists. Good hybrid of mobile elements (fusion, lottery, etc) and traditional RPG elements (secret rooms, special world wide quests, etc).

Additionally some clever fourth-wall breaking and nods to other game types, especially with the relationship stuff.

WARNING - mildly adult content. Children probably won't pick up on it, but FYI.
Snix29,
Get this
Get this. Set the difficulty to Hard. Muddle through some tough fights until you get your four party member. Then relax and enjoy the weird, quirky humor and great games that this company is known for. Then get the sequel. Then Revenant Saga and Dogma. Then Alphadia and its sequel. Then every other game they make.

Buy some of the games, give them some money because some of their best titles are free. This is an amazing company. Do it!!
