Description

Fast and easy tracking just the way you want, with features you'll grow into.

As of version 3.0.0 rTracker is totally free and open source. No ads, no in-app upgrades, just track what you want.

Create your own trackers for physique, mood, mileage, sleep quality, eating, shopping, exercise, job hours, patient progress, questionnaires - whatever you like! Each tracker can include multiple values - numbers, searchable notes, sliders, choice buttons, checkboxes - as well as functions on the values and over time. Track your sleep with 'to bed' and 'got up' buttons, and from these learn your average hours in bed per night over the past weeks, months or years.

Share trackers (data optional) with friends -- compete, compare progress, or use as a distributed questionnaire.

Set reminders for your trackers with specific times and days, trigger after a delay from the last save, or randomly over a time window. Motivate yourself to exercise, remind to take your medication, or build a picture of your mood throughout the day.

Turn your iPhone sideways to graph your tracks; edit past datapoints within rTracker and export to CSV files for deeper analysis as a spreadsheet.

Import CSV files with your historical data, configure trackers with CSV files, and get pre-made trackers from http://github.com/rob-miller/rTracker.

Want to track your bank balance, habits, moods or something else that may be private? rTracker supports hiding individual values or entire trackers with multiple levels of privacy, and there's no central server so everything stays with you.

rTracker uses iOS dynamic text -- adjust font sizes in System Settings -> Display & Brightness -> Text Size.

Designed for fast data input and total flexibility, rTracker is the one tracker for you.

Best Tracking App I've Used - Fully Customizable - Easy to Use
The biggest thing that sets this tracking app apart from the rest is that it allows you to completely customize what you track. Many of the other apps I tried often had a limited set of categories that I was interested in tracking, and their criteria or scales were off. Take "mood," for example: most apps put mood on a scale from "happy" to "depressed," but mood (at least my mood) is more complex than that (sometimes I feel "aloof" or "anxious"). With this app, I can set the values for my mood with criteria that match my idiosyncrasies. I also like that I can export to CSV (with no upgrade or pro account necessary), and I can then customize how my data is visualized. With this app, you own your data.

I would give it five stars just for its feature set, but it has crashed a few times, usually when I do something like trying to slide a screen that doesn't slide. Also, I really don't like the lo-fi faux notebook rings on the main screen, though the graph paper background is apt. Overall, these are very minor issues.

I highly recommend this app.
P.Rx,
Wow!
Seriously, this has a ton of features and gives the user so much control. This developer restores my faith in humanity.
24 Solo,
Loses data since iPhone upgrade
I’ve loved this app and it pains me to leave a bad review. I’ve been using this for several years with lots of data. Unfortunately it’s lost my data twice this week. The only thing I can figure is there is an incompatibility with iPhone 11 pro.
Ponch54xxx,
Pretty cool app!
I really like being able to build my own database for whatever I want to keep track of. I'm also looking forward to importing data I've been tracking on an app that is no longer supported.
The fact that I can hide certain trackers is also an awesome feature though learning how to set the security up took a few tries. Read the help section first and you'll save much time. I've only had tis app for a few days and have more to discover, but so far it's really good.
WhitePlainsSurf,
Awesome App!
I'm stuck in a hospital bed and was looking for an app to help me track some things that is going on with me. This app is awesome! It helps me track Fluid intake and output, meds, vitals and even creates a graph for visual display of data collected. Really slick GUI interface that makes data entry A breeze and I really like what you did with the FUNCTION option that allows me to create my own formulas without the hassle of typing a spreadsheet formula, very intuitive. My doctors and nurses are really impressed by the data tracked and the graphs. Made it easy to see what is gong on over time. At 99 cents, this app is a steal. Thanks a lot. I will definitely be using this for other things to track when I get out of the hospital. Great job!
Aiyoku,
Promising but frustrating
This is a potentially extremely useful app. The ability to track and chart items is extremely useful. I have been able to muddle through the set up and put something in place where I wish to track a number of different variables on a frequent basis. I have not been able to find a competing product. However, the instructions are pretty poor. The privacy settings are completely not understandable and perhaps unnecessary. It's cannot be synced to the cloud between iPhone and iPad. I have not yet tried to see if it can be sent through my Mac. Does not appear to display or function as well on the iPad as iPhone.
Could be so much more.
kskassam,
Great, flexible app
If you're looking to keep track of some aspect of your life, this is the app you're looking for.

I was looking for an app that would allow me to track my mood and energy levels, as well as variables that might affect them. This app does the job really well. It's supremely flexible, allowing you to track a wide variety of variables of different types and access the data easily, both on the phone, and via download for more systematic analysis.
Cre8tv,
Just okay
This is one of the best trackers I've found, but it needs a tutorial as well as a better interface. It's quick for recording things, but it does crash. It's also not easy to add old entries. Right now it's meeting my needs, but I'm keeping my eyes open for a better app. I hope they just improve this one so I can stay with it.
dkamionk,
Reliable and flexible
I've been using for about 6 months now and love it! Extremely flexible and customizable. I use to track sleep, mood, behaviors, etc. Highly recommended for quantifying your life.

Bad. Do not buy.
I should have listened to other reviewers. I'm writing now to help others avoid the same mistake.

The concept of this app is good, but the app isn't. It is difficult to use and the instructions are cryptic. I, too, wish I could get my money back.

My suggestion to anyone who is contemplating the purchase of this app is to use a simple spreadsheet program. As for me, I'm going to delete this app and see if it improves in a future version.
