Well done.
One of the best point and click adventures of the post LucasArts era. The puzzles are tough, graphics are great, nice voice overs...everything well done. For some reason these Bulkypix/Pendulo collabs are always a little buggy, otherwise I'd give it 5 stars. I also wish you didn't get nagged to sign up for the mailing list repeatedly.

Can't load, no app support
I bought this game and can't even get to load. When I click on app support it takes me to a blank web page. Please fix this.

BUGGY, USELESS
Would have been a good fame but it's unplayable. After numerous lockups and crashes, I gave up. Don't waste your money.

Not as great as Yesterday
I played Pendulo studios other game "Yesterday" and was incredibly impressed! Smooth gameplay, awesome story, great graphics! Which made this game such a disappointment, it was so incredibly buggy and glitchy the whole time! I don't feel like I was engaged in the game at all, five minutes in I was already bored and wanted to stop playing. I wouldn't pay 5 dollars for a sequel, I regret paying 5 for this game. I hope some updates fix the bugs in this game, and the next few chapters make it more engaging for the player. Go play Yesterday in the meantime.

NOT HAPPY!!!!!
I am disgusted!! I bought Runaway: A road adventure and it froze and wouldn't go any further after the second scene. I was so disappointed bcuz it was fun and I paid for it! So I wrote to apple and as I am awaiting a reply I decide to buy Runaway: Atwist of fate part 1...optimistically believing it wouldn't happen in 2 different games. Well, it did. So now I'm out 2 games that I paid for and know the fun I'm missing out on as we'll. not happy!!! I have an iPad mini and it meets the requirements and I also did updates to try to solve the problems. Don't waste your money and deal with frustration and disappointment!!!!

Good but
I love adventure games and this one is part of a great series. If you like point and click adventures this is a game for you.

Some parts a bug happens and you can't see your inventory but this is remidied by walking to a new section and it comes back but it is an annoyance
Sometimes the game closes for no reason (fortunately the game has an auto save so I have yet to have to start over)
Overall a great game only due to technical flaws do I give it 4 stars fortunately they don't make the game unplayable and maybe I'm being generous but I have a soft spot for adventure games

Runaway from this game
Runaway is the right title. Runaway and save your money. Game constantly shuts off, freezes (iPad retina display) and overall s*it like quality. Let me save you some money
1. First you're at a cemetery, you get a call from the person you're burying and he says he is alive. So you work to get him out.
2. Once you get him out play as another character backtracking the story. Your goal is to escape from Mental Institution. You fake your death and escape.
3. You're at some house where someone was killed and you look for clues. Once you find what you need someone rolls up and tries shooting at you. They kill one guy, you and other guy escape and blow up a bridge behind you so the other car can't catch up.
BAM, game over.
In second half you find out you're dealing with aliens. Yes aliens. But because it crashes and freezes, you don't get to finish.

Has potential
This game could be great, but aside from the crashes, there are missing clues and screen errors that are just too much to work around. Very disappointing.
In my first 30 min of gameplay, the game froze or restarted 3 times. Thankfully it returned to the previous point in the game and no time lost.
There are a few places where the collected tools appear to be gone, yet if I tap where they should be, they are there but not usable. By going out a scene or two and returning, sometimes this fixes it.
Where I am stuck, unable to progress dispite the above glitches, is at atlas. According to walkthroughs, there is supposed to be a jack to take the weight off the globe... No jack... Yes, I even resorted to restarting and following a walkthrough.
I really wanted this game to work and even deleted and reloaded it with no luck. Please fix it.

Love it!
This is a must buy! I played DS version and the mobile version is just as fresh and funny. The dialogue has some wickedly funny humor. I love this is aimed for adult level. Please convert all the runaway series to the IOS platform! I will buy them and you should too.

Trying to enjoy this game
The graphics are great, the story line is solid, the adventure is challenging, but these bugs - even after the update on 5/13 - are driving me nuts. The part where I am trying to guess Chapman's nickname with the Sheriff is on a continual loop and won't let me get back to Gina. I found the locket, but the shrink keeps guessing the wrong name. Then the the thing crashes. I have a iPad 2, fully updated with the latest firmware. Help me finish this game!
