This app is good and very helpful but it is slow and hard to do because of a slight lag and the holding down on the lightsaber to access the controls is frustrating at time but overall it is good but not worth the 2 dollars maybe one dollar would be a bit better you can see the pictures on my Instagram at thescoundrelcollector

Do not read the “waste of money” or “can’t rotate, what a waste” reviews. You can do all of this, they just don’t know how to read. This app works great and is a solid way to add lightsaber effects to your photos. You can rotate, scale, change color, and unlike many, mask the saber effects so they properly disappear behind objects. Here are the down sides. If your saber glow goes outside the bounding box, you can not mask it off. Also, when viewed close up, the masking is a bit jagged and not very smooth. But in facebook (where most of us use these things) no one will notice. The controls are a little clunky to use. Having to hold down on the saber each time you want to change functions (rotate, scale, mask, color etc...) is cumbersome and it might be a better idea to just have those things in a simple drop down menu on the side that can always be accessed either with a quick tap, or just always visible. Other than those rather minor problems, it works quite well.

So I bought this app a few days ago and when I tried to import a photo I had taken it showed up as a blue screen so naturally I went on the developer’s Instagram and hit him up. He’s super friendly and we managed to knock the issue out within the span of like 2 days! Now you’re probably thinking to yourself, “Is this guy stupid, this isn’t making me want to buy this at all!” And to that I say shut your mouth because I’m not done yet! I’m giving this a 5 Star review because of the developer’s willingness to help, the good cause he’s donating to and just the fantastic way it worked once we fixed it! I urge you to purchase this app because it’s pretty great for $2!

Despite a learning curve for using the editing tools correctly the final product that can be once you learn how to use it is great! The only issue Ive encountered so far is that no matter where I look or how many times I try, hitting the ‘export, button does not make the edited picture appear in my camera roll. ThankI can screenshot the edited image and I dont see any resolution change between the two images but it would be a lot nicer if the whole app worked properly. Otherwise a nice product that makes sabers look great.

Good app, but it has crashed every time I try to export anything and I have to do all of my progress all over again. Another problem is that the unmask feature doesn’t work. Every time I try to use it nothing happens. Hope these problems can be resolved!

The app is great and works amazing on my Instagram page, but the app is very slow and is very annoying when I want to move the saber or rotate or whatnot because it lags for an extra minute before I can.

There are also glitches present as well as stiff movement.

But otherwise it’s good.

The width option doesn’t work, and it could be a little more user friendly. Overall it gets the desire effect done.

I use to love this app for all my Star Wars figure pictures, but lately, after I’ve “Sabered” my picture to just exactly how I want it, tap export, and the app kicks me out, deleting all my work!!

Extremely laggy. I finally gave up trying to close out and restart the app just to start all over editing the same photo multiple times. I definitely don’t have the patience for that. Not worth $2. Wouldn’t even use it free. I’d rather take the time to learn photoshop.

Sabre THIS is the most convenient way make a lightsaber effect! I will definitely be using it so much! It’s worth the $2!
