OK but not as advertised.
I previewed a lot of similar apps before deciding to purchase the life long subscription. One of the key features was the decoy password which was advertised as only being available with subscription. After the purchase, I immediately began to set up the app. Surprisingly, the option to set up a decoy password disappeared upon purchase. Also, I tried to do a WiFi transfer and the connection to my device would not work. Both devices were on the same network and the IP was entered correctly. Long story short, I am very displeased with this app and strongly recommend these items get fixed or consumers stay away from this app.

Designed to be frustrating on purpose
The app doesn’t tell you this at first, but you only get the basic features for about a month or two before they become locked behind a paywall, at which point the app is just a worse files app. I completely understand that the developers would require some form of payment, but the amount of features that become locked once the subscription runs out is ridiculous.
I tried to recover my photos back onto my phone, but for some outright stupid reason, you have to have a subscription to FREAKING COPY OR SAVE MORE THAN ONE PHOTO AT ONCE. I literally had to manually go through each and every photo I had in this app and save them back to my camera roll, which takes 100x longer than is necessary. Why can’t there just be a single app that allows me to put a passcode on my files without having some ridiculous feature or caveat included? Subscriptions should enhance a service, not remove the most basic quality of life features from it so that the app becomes intolerable to use.

Great app, but problem with videos stored
This app is great! It lets you create folders, supports Face ID, and even let’s you add notes, but there are 3 things I would like to see changed/fixed in a future update. When I have a video saved on my phone and crop it, and shorten it in the iOS photos app, those changes don’t come over when I upload the video into the SafeLock app, so it adds the un-cropped and long version of the video. I also wish that when I add multiple photos, they all add into the folder in the order that I selected my photos on the add photos screen. I also wish that there was a way to have an automatic backup to google drive or something. Otherwise, it’s a great app and I would definitely recommend

I love this app very much because i get to keep ‘hidden’ photos i dont want in my actually ‘photos’ app in ‘Safelock’ . Im so stress free and dont even have to worry ab someone going thru my phone and seeinf photos / videos i wouldnt want them to see. I like how it is a passcode u have to enter before you can go completely in. And iy helps save me so much storage in my icloud photos. Any photos i dont want but still want it there at the same time i can js put it in ‘Safelock’ 😁. 100% recommended this app if you are trying to delete photos but u want to keep some that are really important.

So far, I’m loving it!
I love it! I can place away all my private photos without having to worry! The amount of lock apps/photo vault apps I’v tried to use only to find I can only add a certain amount of photos or folders unless I pay for the premium was always so frustrating! So far this app hasn’t pestered be about buying anything! The app itself is easy to use and not hard to navigate around- and it provides folder “skins” to choose from if you do not want to see the contents of the folder until you have clicked on it!

Simple, easy to use app
I like the simplicity and how easy the app is to use. The ability to change the app icon is a nice feature, as well as connecting it to different cloud storage services.
Creating a folder structure to organize files is easy as well as selecting and moving files between folders. The ability to customize folder colors is a nice feature.
Will be purchasing the lifetime subscription for the app, it’s reasonably priced and know that it’s worth the cost as it will be something I will continue to use for years.

Complete Rip Off
Okay, the app has a lot of nice features and works well. BUT (and you knew there was a ‘but’) none of those features are free. In fact, even just the simple ability to password-protect your photos isn’t free. After your introductory free premium account expires, it’s noting more than a worthless place to dump your files.
To get any functionality at all, you have to pay $2 a month. Yep, you heard right. You can’t even just buy the app. Just making the thing work requires a repeating subscription. You don’t get regular new stuff or anything, you just pay rent to these @$-:!;s just so you can have your files behind a 4-digit passcode. There are plenty of free apps that give you better than that for nothing, and even better ones for very modest one-time payments. Do NOT bother with this rip off.

Subscription based and dangerous
I put a bunch of photos and videos in here to give it a try. Not realizing it is only a “trial” of whole app and when trial expires, “premium” feature is the lock! I didn’t realize until weeks after that this app was wide open! Trial expired and in order to have the lock you have to subscribe to a subscription. So be aware your private intended stuff will be available to anyone on your phone once the trial expires. Without even a warning.
Then trying to get my stuff out of it after trial expired is limited to exporting only one item at a time. Took me 15 minutes to export one item at a time out of this dumb app just so I can delete it.

Easy to use and keeps my pictures safe!
I hate showing people pictures in my camera roll because I never know « what’s » going to show up haha could be embarrassing. This app has allowed me to store and keep safe my photos that Id like to keep private and also some folders are to keep for memory sake. I love the facial recognition password it’s makes access the items I save in the app hassle free to access. Also I love that you can create folders it makes it easy to organize! Love this app!

Best app ever for hiding pics & notes..
The best part about it is that when transferring or taking a photo from the app, you can delete the images from the original album that it’s coming from and save it in the safe app. When capturing photos using the camera within the app itself, those photos do not show up in your regular photo album same goes with notes effortless to use; I love it! I highly recommend downloading this app you’ll never need another one.
