Don't buy this product!!
I backed this company over 2 years ago via their Indiegogo campaign. I was a little put out by how long it was taking to get my product, but they would occasionally put out updates, so I patiently waited.
In April last year, I received an email saying they were starting to finally ship out the products and I should expect one soon. Fast forward several months and a new baby later, I realize it was December and I still hadn't received my product.
I went to their website and I found their support email and wrote inquiring where my product was and when could I expect it. A week goes by and no response. I go back to the website and it says I can leave a message while it's offline and they will get back to me, so I do. Another week goes by and still no response to my email or message.
At this point, I'm getting pretty miffed, so I try one final time to leave a message with the chat, but this time, I request a refund instead. Three weeks in all and STILL no response to any of my attempts. I go to the Indiegogo campaign page and see that someone said Safelet has a Facebook page and they are responsive to messages there, so I give it a shot.
Because of the complete lack of customer service, I only want a refund and indicate such in my message to them. I do finally get a response and a meager attempt at an apology and explanation, but the person confirms that they will get me my refund.
The very next morning, I'm scrolling through emails when I see I received one from Safelet... with my shipping confirmation. I immediately notify them via Facebook messenger that I don't want the product and to stop the shipment. It was read, but I received no response.
I sent another message asking what was going on and again, it was read with no response. I received the package by the end of the week, but refused to accept it because I didn't want it; I wanted a refund. I messaged Safelet again and told them I refused the package and asked when I could get my refund. Read, but yet again, no response.
I asked again after another week of no response, and once again, it was read with no response. At this point, I asked to be put in touch with a supervisor and am now being completely ignored. I even asked the same via a post directly to their page, and nothing. It has been 2 months of messages (11 total attempts) and I've received only 1 response.
I have never been treated so poorly or received such horrible customer service in my life. I can't imagine if I actually accepted the product and there was an issue with it. Who would resolve it? If there were somewhere I could actually rate this product, I would give it a zero and I will never recommend this to anyone I know. Don't buy this product!!
