I liked it.
Seems like a lot of people had trouble with this game. I thought it was more interesting/challenging than some of the other games. It was actually different. The only glitch I really had was that the sound kept going out. There were subtitles, so that wasn’t really a problem.
The only real letdown was that the bonus level was especially short. It was over for me in about an hour or less.
If you like these games, but they’re seeming to be all the same, this is a nice change of pace. I’m on a brand new iPad and the only issue I had was with the sound. If the sound really bothers you, closing and restarting the app usually fixed the issue. I thought everything made sense...as much as games ever do. I’m glad I took a chance on it while it was on sale.
If it’s too easy or hard, change the settings.

I really wanted to like this game
The graphics are beautiful and the voice acting is good. The story line is good, and there are some really unique HOPs and games, BUT there are some bugs that are annoying. While playing the game with knots near the beginning of the game, my entire inventory suddenly disappeared, and I had to completely start over. Then during the very last segment of the game where you get the deer antlers, the first antler I was able to get, but then I wasn’t able to get any of the others, and there was nothing I could do! I had to start over again! There were also many tasks that were very difficult to figure out. Some of the HOPs were so dark and vague that I ended up using the hint button a lot, which I hate doing. This was especially true of the HOP where you have to find the hoof prints of the stag. In many HOPs I found myself clicking around randomly, as things were s difficult to find, plus there is no alternate puzzles if you can’t fin things. I also found that, unlike most games, there were not sparkles to give you clues about where things were, and even though I have been playing games like this for decades, I still appreciate the clues. Last comment, the bonus game was exceptionally short, and not satisfying at all.

Yep, fatal error in 1.0 version.
As mentioned before, near the end of the main story, the completed and needed target item in an HOS disappears from the scene when the list switches to indicates to take the final item. It cannot be collected and you are dead in the water. The generic, "things to try if you are you stuck advice" is not helpful. The item was in the scene with all parts collected and it is just gone. Rebooting by closing and reopening the game is ineffective. Way too far in to bother with restarting from the beginning. Whole game not that great, with lots of other annoying glitches like unresponsive tapping. Until they fix the bug do not buy!!
Update: So yeah, This is not really a new release, or version 1.0. As Polandexpat suspected, this is just a re-release of an already old glitchy game. I went to the tech forum to see if there was any news on a fix for the issues, and found a lengthy history of woe from at least 2017, maybe older. can't believe BF can last much longer if they keep making cheesy, rip-off moves like this. Another disappearing customer.

Great game
But make sure in the hos in the toolbox on top of the scaffolding, that you don’t pick up any wooden pieces until the end of the hop. Otherwise they disappear and you cannot get the final item. I had to replay the game bc of this! Otherwise, love the Norse mythology, the characters are interesting, puzzles medium to easy, graphics good, nice music. Took off a star for the above mentioned hop glitch.

The stags are on the run!
Thank you Eipix! Game is long, gorgeous artwork, tons of puzzles and lots of Norse lore! Diary has history of items and people. There is a brief catchup referring to the previous saga for those that didn’t play it. This episode so far is smooth playing. You play different characters each on the hunt for the stolen stags of the world tree. Each in a different part of the nine worlds. And you get to enjoy all the beautiful scenery on a full screen yay! Verdict: play and enjoy!

Would a fellow gamer please let me know how to get a refund on this nonworking game. I contacted Big Fish and was given a link that doesn’t work. Still have not heard back from them. Would greatly appreciate the help! Thanks KdBoots

They wrote me back and said that the Next New Release will be The Road To Mahjong in September ( no date was given) Then after that Darkness & Flame 🔥 3 will be released. They have been having problems with requirements of the iOS platform with Apple 🍎. They said for us to hang in there, they are working hard on this.
Also, Thank you for your reply on How to get a Refund on a game. They sure make a person jump through a lot of hoops.

I played this game almost to the end and the object that I have to get to finish the game disappeared (after I made it) in the HOP and even after restarting multiple times, won’t appear. Game will not progress. Hint keeps telling me to go into the broken HOP. Hint within HOP keeps telling me to leave. Skipping the HOP is not an option. I cannot complete the game.
Also, the game is much more boring than the 1st one, clearly they just wanted to release another game without working to make something new or engaging. Or functional.
I want my money back.

Too hard
Too hard even on custom mode. Map is not very good it will teleport you but not in right area. Morphing objects turn very very slow you will need to stare at it for minutes. They don’t tell you which Collectibles you need to get. Most puzzles hard. Story boring. I buy games and like to replay. I will not replay. Most of the game was skip skip skip and use guide constantly.

Fatal error near end
I had the same issue as others, current edition couldn’t be completed. Needs an update to fix bug that makes primary objective in HOP near the end disappear before it can be collected to progress. I’ll get the refund from Apple. Big Fish response was the standard “force close app & update device” blow off that they always send when their product ain’t ready for prime time, as if after 15 years we’re all still trying to figure out how to use these newfangled smartphones.

I was enjoying it right up to ....
...the part where there’s a floating key, that we apparently need to fit into each hole to activate the blue crystal.
Nothing I’ve tried helps. The key is stationary! And the hint keeps sending me right back to the key.
I even looked it up in the Walk Through. It doesn’t do a thing to help.
Maybe I’m wrong - but when I spend my money on a game, the game should, I don’t know, actually WORK right?!
So much for this game. I’m not willing to start all over again, on the “chance” that it may get it to work right.

You obviously don’t care about us, so why should we care to make sure you get paid?
