The app is categorized into 2 sections:
PLAY ON CARVAAN
Use this section of the app when you are listening to your Carvaan at home. This app enables you to browse through the library of old Hindi songs that are pre-loaded on your Carvaan. You can also search for your favourite song or even create playlists of your choice.This section of the app needs to be used in conjunction with your Carvaan unit.
PLAY ON APP
This subscription based section allows you to stream and download your favourite songs on the Saregama Carvaan App.
APP FEATURES:
• View list of songs available under a station. Connect your Carvaan and app to enjoy all the songs of that station. Whether its Mohammed Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Shashi Kapoor or Amitabh Bachchan, tap on the image of your favourite artiste to see the entire list of songs available on his/her station. All stations, across all categories for connected Carvaan will can be viewed on the app.
• Play songs on demand. Now that you have the entire song list in front of you, play songs as per your choice. We believe it’s the perfect way to enjoy our range of specially curated stations like Sad, Happy, Film Instrumental, Hindustani Classical etc. You can tune to any station of you like.
• Enjoy a lean back experience. If you prefer that we do the hard work. Go to any station of the app. Tap on the station name, for eg: Manna Dey station. Sit back and enjoy.
• Search for a song. Type in the name of the artiste like Gulzar, Asha Bhosle or any other to view a list of all their songs. Or if you are looking for something specific, simply type the song name / album name and search.
• Create playlists. Make playlists for different parts of the day or a variety of moods. We love to name our playlists The Happy List, Best of Romance, Non-stop Dance and Ghazals for the Soul. Give playlist a fun name and add songs. b. You can also repeat a playlist, shuffle songs or re-order songs in a playlist

SUBSCRIPTION TO PLAY ON APP
The app allows you to subscribe to the Carvaan product that you have. You can subscribe to any of the products – Carvaan Premium, Carvaan Gold, Carvaan 2.0, Carvaan Gold 2.0 , Carvaan GO. Subscription to a specific product allows you to stream songs within the app or download songs to listen to songs within the app without internet. Each product has different subscription packs to choose from – Monthly, Quarterly, Semi Annual and Annual. Choose the pack that you like!! Subscription packs start at Rs 69 per month for India. Subscription price may vary across country and products. If you subscribe to any of the products via iTunes, payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase and your membership will automatically renew monthly/quarterly / semi annually / annually unless turned off at least 24 hours before the end of current period. Subscription will be renewed within 24-hours before the end of each period at the rate of your selected plan. Turn off auto-renewal anytime by going to My Account or through iTunes.

THIS APP IS SO PATHETIC
I wish there was a way to give ZERO star because that’s what this App deserves.
I have paid the subscription and it’s not letting me play or download songs and keeps asking for subscription every time.
HOW MANY TIMES YOU WANT MY MONEY???
I tried to call the 800 number. No matter what time you call it always says “all circuits busy” ??!!!
Last 10 reviewers out of 12 reviewers have described the same problem so WHY DON’T YOU FIX YOUR APP.
There are so many smart programmers in India. Get one of them to fix the App so it knows when people have already paid the subscription.

Worst App ever download!
This is worst ever downloaded app!! I can not play Carvaan songs on app even after buying subscription, as it can not recognize my subscription!! Even the Carvaan device is a prototype and not very innovative, you can not connect a blue tooth speaker with it or play its songs on other blue tooth device like car or other music systems. The inventors assume that the listeners will never need better quality speakers. Don’t waste your money, all these songs are available online or subscribe to other more tech savvy and user friendly music apps.

Crappy! After hours of effort, I still cant connect wifi! Strongly do NOT recommend.
…Stand alone, the device serves a purpose, but without wifi it cannot deliver promised features (podcasts, etc) making the saregama device meaningless. Of course, I am unable to reach anyone for help or to return device.
Suggestions:
- surface device mac id for access control
- easier wifi. My device not recognized by app so wifi options never available to me.

App is poorly made
Purchased a subscription a few minutes ago and it says I have to subscribe to play songs, easy way to take peoples money and develop a poor app but still have customers be able to purchase subscriptions without proper use of the app. I saw from a previous review that they want login credentials to fix the problem but there is no way I’m giving this company my login password and email. No company needs that information. Can’t even get my refund back.

Unable to connect to WiFi
Tried different means and ways but message keeps coming as Password incorrect though all my devices work on same password. Help section says enter serial number but no place u can enter within the app.. tried adding another Carvaan.. no use.. the help section phone numbers do not work either.

Mismatch in song shown in app and it plays
There is mismatch, i was able to connect carvaan to the app and it plays the song from the app but in bhakti section it plays song different from what you selected seems like a bug. this does not seems to be issue in hindi section though for now

Where does the downloaded songs go ?
I can download the song and it plays in the caravan app on the phone. I would like to put in my music library to make a tune out of it or use as alarm. Is it possible ? If yes how ? If no bad design of the app.

I bought a Carvaan for my mom for Mother’s Day and tried to download the app and a subscription for her, and it’s still saying we need to buy one!! Can’t access any songs to play on the phone, only on the radio. What was the 11$ for then??

Songs out of order and some don’t work
I tried using WiFi for playlist and the songs either don’t work or the song I click on is not the song that plays. One of the song I ran into just repeated the beginning music!
