Yesterday,
I just signed up due to an advertisement I saw via IG promotion. So I decided to check out what the site was about. It was easy to navigate once you got the hang of it. I have not made a connection yet but I have liked a few profiles. 🙂
So let’s see what happens...
I think the site is very detailed especially when setting up the profile. The only thing I must say is that a few men won’t find anyone with their profile names lol and that their pictures are old and out of date.
But so far, so good. I’m looking forward to the possibilities on this site and hope my King finds me.

Okay so it's not 100% free to use. Nobody and talked about that in their reviews if you want 100% free then you will need to try POF or Tinder HOWEVER they also come with ALOT of riff raffand no vetting. So this app while not expensive still costs in the long run. For example free sign up, 150 free credits and 100 more free credits when you fill out the dating profile. If you run out of credits (1 per message) Its $4.99 for 100 more, not bad you can use credits to boost your profile so more people see you too. If you buy a membership there are more benefits too so not bad, giving it 5 stars cause the people on there, good looking and nice to talk to.

Still understanding how to use
I downloaded the app because I saw it watching one of my favorite YouTubers. It seemed easy to creates a profile. After that I didn’t know what to do. I did create my profile late at night and didn’t put much effort into figuring it out. I appreciate the company giving you all access to site before having to pay, but I still couldn’t figure out how to do anything. It would have been nice if upon profile creation some institutions on how to search, how to purchase more credits, what to do, and etc.
Based off the other reviews I’m sure once I will figure out how to use the site. I’ll be updating this review once I do.

Good App
I like the concept behind this and the app/website version would be very good once more work is invested into it.
- Improve the UI
- Increase App Speed
- Allow Larger QUALITY Photo files
- Allow left/right swipe feature to navigate through settings
- Remove photos with filters
- Ability to unsend a message
BUGS:
- The thumbs up button should be “like” and not “meet” :?
- changing where I’m from changes also for certain users.
- Scrolling through match search automatically clicks on users.
Might be related to the refreshing of the feed when have around 800+ miles
- After exiting a users profile, the app automatically scroll all the way up, instead of staying where you were
- My island/country is not available

The point of the app...
So it’s been two days, I cannot even browse the app as it says I still have to wait until pictures are approved. I came here to read the reviews and reopened the app again, and it asks for a verification link - if one wasn’t sent, enter the email address. I did. Prompt said check inbox link sent. Well no it wasn’t. So the entire point of even trying the app is defeated. But I’m happy to see the condition and speed of things before I did anything foolish like spending money on it. I’m on my way to delete the app now. Sad really, can’t say we don’t try to support. 🤷🏽♀️

It’s called Straight BLACK Love so tell me why and indigenous moor is telling me I’m not black. Why YOU here. I’m African, lol. Jokes aside, I love that it welcomes everyone and even the religion options are in line with the African community e.g.. Hebrew Israelites, nation of Islam etc they are missing some but that is a start as it’s about the cultural differences and similarities we have while still being one community. True pan african spirit.

Been single for too long and my friend recommended Straight Black Love to me, I was hesitant but then I saw an ad so I think what I am looking for will be here. It’s hard to gauge a person’s mindset and if they down for the cause on the street and most times they aren’t. I want somebody that’s gonna have my back and understands without having to explain certain things.

Some people playing games but It is easy to tell who is serious from who isn't and anybody who doesn't fill out their profile isn't serious about finding somebody to build with. Let people show you who they are and don't jump into anything.

Convenient app
I had the old version and didn't like it much but came back and the whole interface had changed. Can use it without paying to speak to popular users which is good, you get free credits, no more gifts but oh well never used it anyway.

This is a great app, Ignore the haters in the comments they’re either to cheap to pay for the app just like other apps that charges , also this is a black dating app for blacks only why would you Involve yourself if you don’t meet the requirements, I love the app keep up the great work in uplifting or god and goddess
