sassy shorty,
Recommendations of similar games
I really love this game! I have a brain tumor and a seizure disorder because of it. And on the advice of my doctors,...I’ve been playing Scalak and other puzzle games similar to it as a “precautionary” form of “cognitive, comprehensive and short-term memory loss therapy”. After completing and playing Scalak over and over again,...I’ve been trying to find games as “closely” similar to it as possible. However,...I haven’t been able to find any even “remotely” similar to it! I know Scalak isn’t considered “challenging”,...for most anyway,...but can anyone recommend any other games comparable to it? I’d rather any recommended games’ “difficulty level” be as comparable to Scalak’s as possible. Thank you.
Sabarblatoe,
Sexiest Puzzle Game EVER!!!
I always wanted a HellRaiser puzzle box & this game is just like building your own.....without all the demons & fleshy bits...UNFORTUNATELY...am I right. Ok anyway. This game is.....
Smooth as smooth can smooth
Entertaining as...something REALLY
entertaining.
Sweat & tasty graphics
Intuitive movement that you just...get
VERY smooth difficulty progression (no “this is to easy” straight to “HOW THE F@?# AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THIS S?#T”)
Challenging throughout while still fun and fulfilling
Very Relaxing as others have stated
Lots of different types of puzzles so not repetitive and Mundane
CONS:
None, unless you count battery life which is EASILY fixed by tapping HQ on front screen as clearly stated by Devs which rectifies it.
WARNING:
May forget things like “get clothes out of washer”, “eat food & stuff” & “pick up kid from school” due to complete enthrallment. Not a big deal. Ok, now back to the game...I’m getting withdrawal tremors.
!!!WORTH THE VERY SMALL PRICE!!!
ErisRaslad,
Great except for one thing...
I've only just gotten this game and I'm in love. I love puzzles and brain teasers so this was a perfect addition to my puzzle game folder, there is one issue however that is a bit tedious, when I select one of the puzzle pieces and try to move it where my finger is does not sync up to where the image is, (as in I'm touching empty space and the piece that I'm moving is about a centimeter away from where my finger actually touches the screen). A mild issue but an issue nonetheless that dampens the pleasantness of the gameplay (this bug is especially irritating if you drag and drop the piece only to let go and find you didn't drag far enough to compensate for the extra centimeter of space and the piece defaults back to its start position).
Swamp Critter,
Poor use of Battery for otherwise enjoyable game :(
I’m giving this game 1 star simply because of the significant battery drain, which I think the developers need to address. Even when set in HQ mode (go to settings in top left corner) this app drains 25% of my battery (iPhone 6s) in 5 minutes and killed my battery after playing for 20 minutes! I would like to know why and, more importantly for the app, would like to see it fixed.

Otherwise, the game provides a great mental challenge and plays very smoothly. The graphics are calm and pleasing. The movement (rotation) of some pieces can be frustrating at first, but not overly bothersome after figuring out the “technique”. Overall, this simple game is a time-drain that is worth the $1.99. Unfortunately, is not worth the battery drain.

Truly Intriguing Game
The puzzles in this game start out very easy and quickly become very intriguing and satisfying when you actually complete each person. The only criticism I have is that it’s hard to pick up where you left off if you go back to the menu and try to find the last problem you worked on. I’ve had to redo a few puzzles. Redoing them is just as satisfying as the initial. I recommend this game for everyone, it makes you think, and it is very rewarding when you solve.
mwoodw,
Great game but...
This is an absolutely fantastic game, my kids and I both love it, the only problem is the amount of battery it uses and how hot my phone gets. I can play other games or get on Facebook watching videos for hours and not use as much battery life as I do in 1 hour playing this game. It drained my battery from 100 to 24% in one sitting. That and I noticed my phone gets really hot where the battery is. It’s such a simple game with little graphics that I just don’t understand.
Sixleggedghost,
Halfway through still feels like training mode.
I’m a mildly smart guy but I’m halfway through the game and waiting for it to be challenging and not time consuming. Clever design but this is not that hard. In two play sessions I’m halfway through and haven’t been more than a little challenged. Worth 2 bucks since at least it’s not an endless runner or bejeweled clone. Every time it introduces new ideas, it takes a few levels to show you how to do it. For example section 4: take a second, look at pieces, make 2 or 3 moves, finish level.
Update! Just realized it was 4 and up. I guess it’s for the under 10 crowd. Makes sense now.
Marpaw,
Excellent puzzle game
I always look out for games like this and I was not disappointed. Especially liked how the various puzzle elements built on each other as the levels got more difficult. I really hope there will be more levels, took me less than 2 hours to beat the whole game.

To the dev, if you’re reading this, I hate IAP but I would gladly pay $0.99 for another 90 levels. Seeing how highly ranked this game is in the puzzle category, I wouldn’t be the only one.
Gitarzz,
Absolutely Fantastic
I really love all the games by this developer. This is probably my favorite. I have them all.

So why only four stars? Only because I keep hitting the menu button. I’m left-handed so I play with my left hand all the time and my fingers keep hitting that lousy menu button. There really needs to be a setting to move the menu button to the right side.

Having said that I really recommend this game. It is something that you’ll want to play over and over. Play it when you get a little free time and it simply satisfies.
Mewood40,
Best game I’ve bought
Relaxing but challenging enough to keep me coming back. I don’t get frustrated at levels though some require a bit of thinking. Perfect for taking your mind off things for a bit and giving you a new perspective. Just what I was looking for...something to pass a few moments and be a way to refocus energy. But I think I could also play quite happily on long flights! Wish there were more along these lines!
