Does what it promises
I actually like this publication because
A. it’s useful to my work as a middle school science teacher and B., the corporate funding underlying most “impartial education” efforts isn’t too visible, at least. You know like seeing the Koch brothers name plastered on everything at the American Museum of Natural History that totally kills your science buzz.

I have really enjoyed using the online copy of science scope. I wanted something to read to help my current topic in school but I did not know where I had put my copy that I wanted to find. I remembered about the science s ope app and went to it and immediately had the past versions available for me to read. Very convenient.

Yay! Magazines at my fingertips
I really like this ap. the magazines are clear and it is easy to find what you are looking for, both in the magazine and PDF formats which makes it easy to print. The only problems that I have with this is I would like to see the magazine go into the newsstand so you can always see the issues that you have without having to open the sci scope and scroll through. Another problem that I have is that you cannot bookmark, highlight or add a sticky note to your favorite sections so you won't need to scroll through. If these minor issues are fixed I will rate this 5 stars and will never need the paper science scope again.

Science Scope App
This app works great! I like that I am able to make notes and mark my favorites so I can return to them at a later date. I also appreciate that there isn't a separate charge to use the online option.

Love it!
This is a great way to access Science Scope. While I'm not ready to give up my paper copy, this is awesome. No clutter, I can email tidbits to friends and I love being able to tap a web link and go directly to a related / referenced article.

Science Scope at my fingertips
This app is a great addition to a subscription to Science Scope and membership with the NSTA. I can now refer back to any issue of the journal on my iPad without searching through paper copies. Great move!

Scope App
Scope contains both science education and science content articles that are relevant for teachers at several educational levels. The app makes it easier to read and manipulate on the iPad.
