Use the camera on your smartphone to count the score for Scrabble®. Counting points when playing Scrabble® can be tedious and sometimes riddled with mistakes. SCORABLE is a simple tool that helps Scrabble® players to count the score in an innovative and easy way.
• Just "capture/take a shot of" the Scrable® game board with your smartphone or tablet camera after each turn. SCORABLE does the math for you.
• Alternatively, type your words manually using the virtual keyboard. As simple as it sounds!
• Check words against the official Collins Scrabble Words (CSW2015) © Harpercollins Publishers 2015 and solve all those arguments when playing.
• Support up to 4 players.
• You can choose 7 or 8 letters on the rack.
• Have complete history for the game including the board state after every turn and simple statistics.

Latest update needs some fixes
I have used this app for years and love it. This latest update though… first kept saying I needed premium when I have had it. Finally discovered I needed to “restore purchase”. Then dictionary wouldn’t work until it was “enabled”, but went un-enabled suddenly in middle of game. When taking photos of words played, the score is partially hidden behind tile. And at the end, wouldn’t let me get to main menu; kept asking if I wanted to rate the app but went back to game end screen no matter the answer. I hope it gets cleaned up!

Works well, but entering Blanks seems bugged?
Despite undoing and trying to take a picture it kept ignoring a blank tile at the end of a word. I tried to edit it in manually but clicking the “blank” button doesn’t seem to do anything. When we put another word cross the blank and took a picture it worked but gave the points to the wrong person.

Time saver
This app has a great UI and although there are a few flaws, it makes score keeping much quicker. Plus as others have noted, you can airplay the screen to your TV so other players can get a better view of the board.
I’ve heard other downsides, but the only change I would personally make is the ability to delete or resume a game that was accidentally ended. Especially if you want the statistics portion of the app to be accurate.

If you're thinking, "Hey, I wonder if someone has thought of a companion app for keeping score in Scrabble," look no further. This one FIGURES THE SCORE AUTOMATICALLY. All you really need to do is take a snapshot of the board after each play. Yes, it costs money to play with 3 or 4 players, but this app takes all the annoying math out of our beloved word game. 💯

Awesome to keep score and really smart
I can’t believe how easy it was to keep score. It was so smart it knew when the game should have been over based on actual pieces. It knew when too many letters were used when you forget to mark blank tiles correctly. I would give this app a 10, well worth the 2.99.

End game warning?
Love the app, we play all the time and scoring on this app makes everything a breeze.
One major flaw: if you accidentally tap the “end game” button, there’s no going back. There should be a pop up to confirm that you’re actually ending the game. We’ve had to stop and re-score almost entire games because of this.

Somebody killed this app
Says “no new letters added,” so obviously doesn’t recognize our Deluxe Scrabble Edition with dark red pieces for the camera option. What’s worse is when trying to enter letters manually the screen just jumps around under my finger, rather than opening the keyboard for entry. Was able to score 2 plays but don’t want to have to tap the screen a dozen times to get the app to respond. I’m using iPhone 12 Max and have no issues like this with any other app.

Finally a great scrabble score app
The app is easy to use. My only issue was that it didn’t pick up all my brown wood tiles with black letters on my scrabble deluxe board. I still was able to easily type the words in when the camera failed. I’m still rating 5 stars for the outstanding effort and I’m sure this will be fixed. I was using an. iPhone 10.

Fixes!
The last update was plagued by bugs that effected basic play. My big thing, the keyboard is fixed. Looking forward to using the app again instead of giving friends a five minute explanation of how to handle the bugs and “how good it used to be.”

Broken
As other reviews have suggested, the keyboard input is extremely buggy, sometimes I have to close out of the input screen 6+ times to get the keyboard to appear. This really detracts from the experience and makes the app very frustrating to use. This is a breaking issue and should be addressed, especially given the fact that updates are being pushed on a regular basis.
