ScripTalk Mobile by En-Vision America, Inc., allows ios devices with Near Field Communication (NFC) capability to read ScripTalk Talking Labels. These special labels are adhesive RFID tags attached to medication containers by pharmacies participating in the ScriptAbility accessibility program. The patented ScripTalk system uses text-to-speech technology to provide the visually and reading-impaired with audible prescription information. Currently, there are many people that have difficulty reading or understanding the contents and instructions of their prescription medications. The small print and look-alike packaging of medicine vials can lead to confusion, non-compliance, and mistakes. En-Vision America has created a solution to this serious issue with ScripTalk Mobile.

This app is worth it’s weight in gold. It has enhanced my life more than I can count. Scan is always perfect and it reads clear and concise. I can get all my medication information in one app on my iPhone. I see my doctors information and I see my dosage and I also see the precautions. What an app. Envision America you have outdone yourself. Thanks 1 trillion!

Makes examining medication so Easy!
I love this app. Now I don't need to pack one more device. Also really like the fact that I can click one button for a quick prescription name or another button for all of the label details. Love it!

Well one less device to pack
My cell phone is an SE so no joy for me. My wife’s phone can handle it. Works as promised. We both see this as a way of showing hospitals and pharmacies what Hetlioz is... we always end up taking off the wonkily applied print label from the
Mail order place. This allows the team to verify prescriber, pharmacy, directions without any trouble. Thanks for going to the effort to provide this app and service.

Better than I expected
I’ve been using the hardware reader for a few years so far and wasn’t sure what to expect with the app. It is simple, affective and does everything I expected. A few suggestions:
1. Provide links to medication information from trusted sources such as WebMD, Medscape, etc.
2. Provide links to the filling pharmacy’s web site, or better still to the medication refill page.
The above is just icing on the cake though — the cake is delicious as is.
Keep it up.

Need to work on getting more local pharmacies listed in the list of pharmacies. My location does not show the pharmacy that I use with ScripTalk need help feel free to contact.

Works great
I've been using the hardware version of this for years, and eagerly awaiting the app. It works perfectly and the accessibility is spot-on. Well done, now if I can just get my new pharmacy to consistently remember to put the labels on...

A life saver!
This works fabulous. Probably just saved my life. Med Bottles got mixed up no sighted assistance available. Realized if i hadn’t used this app i would have double dosed. Quick and simple to use. Well worth the iPhone upgrade. Thanks ScripTalk!

Great for travel
The app works as well as the reader with the following advantages.
I don’t have to carry extra devices when I travel.
The quick Scan feature is great for checking medication quickly.
The information stays on the display.
When I double tap the Pharmacy’s phone number my iPhone calls it.
It’s easier to update than hardware.

The standalone hardware is incredible, but the ScripTalk Mobile app is brilliant! Accessing prescription information via the app Will make traveling so much easier. 😎
