• The Idea section helps you clarify your movie idea by answering specific questions, getting to the heart of your story
• Structure your story arc with Act 1, Act 2, and Act 3 builders. All three act sections contain Act Beat questions to facilitate new ideas and notes which will prepare you when you're ready to build scenes
• The "Character Builder" feature prompts you to answer questions about your characters to help you get to know your characters better and to discover their arcs. Getting to know your characters will make writing your scenes with these characters smoother. (IAP for $0.99)

I originally built this app because I found myself coming up with ideas for screenplays but didn't have a dedicated place to capture them. I also wanted a tool that would help me flesh out the story, characters, and scenes before I sat down in front of my computer to write.

I only recently started using the app after reading reviews and the app synopsis. My first thought as I started to carve out my script was, “why does it auto load my name?”. This app allows me to write in the title of my book but doesn’t let me identify myself as far as who the book was written by. Why not let me identify myself and decide if I want to use my legal name or not? I may choose to use my first and middle, who knows but this app doesn’t allow room for that. I’m sure I’ll have more feedback as I get more acquainted with it but so far - aside from that, I’m happy.
Update*** It deleted ALL of my character characteristics (the answers to the questions). I’m literally crying!!!! Please help. I clicked “save” after every sentence I typed. 😔💔

Amazing idea, but...
The concept definitely gets five stars, but the issues brings it down. I’ve been having the same problem that most are having which is the saving issue which is beyond frustrating. So what I’ve been doing is, writing/filling in the info> copy what I wrote > Save>Save again>Go back>come back to what I just wrote to see if it saved (9x out of 10 it does not save)>Paste>Save>save again and that usually does the trick. But it is such a time waster. So, after I spend a couple of minutes to a few hours using the app and when I’m done, I immediately send myself a PDF via email.
A new thing that started today is when I’m writing/filling in the info for example in the Characters Notes, I will start typing a key or two and the cursor will move to a different section like the title of the character in the middle of my typing. 🤬
I really hope they fix these issues because I like the app a lot and I want to love it but with the issues I just can’t. I’m afraid that if I continue using the app I will to throw my phone against the wall, and honestly it’s not my phones fault. 🥺

This is app is great for now.
Please respond to this. This is is great and I mean I love IT. However I don’t see an option to get it from phone to paper or a way to share it. Other then this Little confusing part it’s 5 stars based on the setup alone. Very easy to use. Very helpful. Hopefully this makes my movie a classic. So can you pls help?

This app is great!
I absolutely love this app! I am using this app to actually plan and outline my novel, not a script. I love this app because it is how I personally like to plan out my stories in the three Act structure. I love how each section helps you to organize your thoughts more. It’s very organized and not cluttered like o have found with other writing apps. I have used many writing apps over the years and this one is easiest to follow and work with.
I only recommend this app if you enjoy writing outlines and planning everything before you start writing a novel, script or short story. It’s a great app for any writer!

Free Advertising... If you make the app free first!
I really like this, and it helps me organize my scripts better. But you have to pay to do scenes and characters. Which is stupid. I know it’s only 99 cents, but it’s just so annoying when you have to pay when you could always just write it down for FREE. But whatever. If you could change that minor detail, I would give this app 5 stars and recommend it to people. Free advertising for this app. But until then, you don’t get free advertising from me. And you can kiss that extra star goodbye. But other than that, it’s great!

The suggestions and writing tips for each section is amazing. I am planning out an online class script, and this took my one hour of content and tripled it. Great value for this growing niche.
I haven’t experienced any data loss, even when it did crash once. What you write in the box sections is minimized/hidden upon reloading, which is scary until you click it. Good advice from another reviewer is to PDF export every session, always have a backup.

App erases everything I wrote
The app itself is simple and convenient for fleshing out your story. It’s not studio quality but it’s okay, I might have rated it 3 stars. But I spent money to purchase the Characters and Scenes tabs of the app. I put in hours detailing my characters and story, exactly what the app is made for right? Wrong. It gives you to option the save, which like any writer I do multiple times while writing, only for you to come back to the app to find entire segments wiped out with others remaining. One Star. Screen shotting what I can and deleting.

I recently bought it and as of using it it is quite helpful as an aspiring screenwriter. I love that I can easily create an outline of my work on the go. BUT, I would love it if you added some new templates to your app. Particularly a template for television scripts. I’d love it if you made the app compatible for tv screenplays. Otherwise great work.

Leaving money on the table
You guys have an excellent app. It's helped me structure out the last few scripts I've wrote, you guys are leaving money on the table though.... It would take this app to the next level of you guys added a notepad to write drafts of scenes.

They should charge upfront
After waiting for this app to download then adding the base info it hits me up for premium service features. It wasts your time like this by having you fill out a bunch of information on the presumption its a free service and after wasting your time it hit you up for money. That is designed to pressure to pay for their service Otherwise the half hour you spend was for nothing
