1.95.3
2021-12-04
SCSnapShot now allows substantial control over all built-in cameras on the device upon which it runs. The 'Source' is the combination of a camera (the physical component) and its unique configuration (preset, compression, resolution, frame rate). The same camera can be used to define multiple sources, each with its own unique configuration. Additionally, each source can be either active or inactive. Only active sources are included when seeking the next source (the lower left corner button on main screen). Therefore, it might be desirable to inactivate all but one of the back cameras to avoid having to seek through multiple back cameras for typical use. Moreover, sources can now be given an order during seek.

1.91.3
2020-02-04
The visible area of the preview image is now used to set both exposure and focus. This assure that what you zoom-in on is properly exposed; good for sunny days where the subject you zoomed-in on is in a shady spot, for example. Likewise, the camera's focus is now based on what has been zoomed-in on, instead of the whole preview image as previously implemented. This feature does require the camera in question to support point-of-interest functionality, but most all cameras do today.
This version also corrects a minor animation inconsistency present in several of the previous releases.
1.91.1
2020-01-31

1.90.1
2019-12-07
Adds the ability to select the camera's 'Preset', governing the image preview quality, and thus memory usage. Moreover, a photo quality option can be toggled to request that the captured image is of the highest possible resolution, even if previewing is done with a preset other than 'Photo' - this option may not have any functional impact on some older iOS equipment. Note, if the 'High Resolution Capture:' option is not active in the 'Settings' dialog, the image captured may have a resolution as low as that being previewed. Action shots always match preview quality.
1.90.0
2019-10-09
Captured images can now be rotated using the rotation gesture. Additionally, captured images can be mirrored about both the x and y axes by use of a two-finger swipe, vertically or horizontally respectively. To undo any applied rotation or mirroring simply use a two-finger double tap. Also new to this version, rotating the device with a captured image will rotate the image as well. In all cases the preview is returned to its original orientation and location so the next picture can be taken. Lastly, individual captured image quality (tapping the shutter button) is now of the highest resolution photo image quality, where action shots (holding down the shutter button) remains at the video preview resolution.

1.80
2018-04-24
Added two new buttons at bottom of screen - the second and fourth. The second from the left is a picker that provides three standard frame sizes which can be use to crop images; 3x5, 4x6, and 5x7 while maintaining the user custom frame option of the previous version (long press image then drag for custom frame/zoom). Long press this second button to lock your current cropping area (the red box), preventing it from being changed accidentally - long press again to unlock. The fourth button allows for locking of all aspects of the image, preventing panning, zooming, and changing of the crop area - use a long press to change from unlocked to locked and visa versa. When the button is smaller it is in a locked state and when larger it is in the unlocked state (photo 6 shows both buttons in the locked state, all other photos show both buttons in the unlocked state.
