Great app
So I used this to study for my 3rd AE Unlimited HP and DDE tests. I also used a the paper study guide and a USB from Mariner Adv. They all had there pluses and minuses. Specifically, I really liked how the questions were broken down into sections so I could focus on one thing at a time. Also was WAY more convenient to do the questions on my phone than having to have a laptop with me. I did have one problem when I went to purchase a 3 month membership, my connectivity on my phone caused me to get charges but denied me the access on the app. I emailed them about the problem and it was resolved in a few hours with them going above and beyond. Totally recommend this app for studying.

Best Way To Study Anywhere
This app is great. It makes it so easy for me to study a few questions when I have time, but it also gives you the ability to put in a couple of hours at a time. I used it everyday for rules of the road and would do at least 50 questions a night, and if I didn’t know, or wasn’t 100% sure on the answer, I would bookmark it. After going through every single question I would go through my bookmark questions to review the questions I wasn’t so confident on. I would recommend this for any rating, licensed or unlicensed. You can’t go wrong with this app.

I purchased the app from a recommendation of a friend and it’s a great app! 2 complaints I have, 1. When you exit out of an illustration some times it exits out of the whole module. If you accidentally hit the exit button, it exits and you have to start the module over. A simple “are you sure you want to exit” would prevent that. 2. I used the app for about 6 months to study for my 3 a/e unlimited. I passed every thing with no problems on the first try except motors 2. The app doesn’t include a lot of the questions on the motors 2 involving aux boilers, charge systems, governors, and a few other subjects. Motors 2 is more in-depth and would really like to see those questions in the app.

Good enough to pass!
This app has less questions than the usb offered by Mariner Advancement, but it has more than enough for you to pass the tests. It is great due to the ability to be used on different devices, but it has some minor bugs. (Nothing to worry about though) I just wish that the answers were shuffled every time I saw them because I began just to memorize the answers location not the actual answer.
Great app if you don’t want to spend over a hundred dollars to pass.

Trade off between Mariner Advancement and Sea Trials
Hey guys, let me just say that the app is a great way to study for the USCG examination as it provides the solutions and (mostly) updated pictures expected in the test. (Engineer Side) However, comparing the diversity of questions from Mariner Advancement (Thumb Drive) vs the subscription benefits the app or account provides (even though most questions are similar), it is clear that Sea Trials isn’t as updated as of 2021. If you can afford the Mariner Advancement drive, I encourage you to take that first and reinforce it with Sea Trials as a means of studying on your phone. Wish the beak of luck to you guys on passing your modules :)

I am currently using this app to help study for my 3a/e exams and I ran into a subscription problem right before I went out to sea where I wouldn’t have service and I got in contact with the customer service and they resolved my issue before days end! I am very satisfied with this application and all of its uses, it really helps me narrow down the questions and helps me determine what I am sufficient in and what I am not. Very grateful for this application!

The perfect study tool
If you are studying to upgrade or get your license, this is the app to use. The app keeps track of your stats so you know which topics you need to study more. Also, being able to flag tricky questions specificallly to review later is very helpful. The ease of taking your phone out to go through a few questions whenever you want is great, especially since you do not require internet!

Great way to prep for licensing exams
Used this app for a couple weeks to study/prep for my 1AE. Makes it really easy. Had used the trial version at sea with no signal which is necessary for this kind of app. My only complaint/wish is to have an option to study ONLY the “flagged/bookmarked” questions. Not really a huge deal but it would be a nice option.

So far I really like this app. A couple things would be nice to see, a total accumulation of how many times you have taken each test in order to get a better grasp of your averages. The ability to purchase the app's as it's on the expensive side for an app especially as it's per month or three months.
I've noticed a couple questions that are incorrect according to the USCG rules of the road book.

The best study app for prep for the price
Great app. Works flawlessly. Huge database of over 40,000 questions. Covers all categories. You can set it for whatever license you are going for. Remembers where you left off. Even syncs between devices. Logs your answers so you can review what you got wrong. Works offline or online. Simple to use. Developer responds quickly. Well worth the price.
