PKM,
Decent, some issues still exist
Started a new 2e campaign recently and this app has been helpful.

It’s good at walking through the setup of a character though if you’re choosing a class that requires a deity or patron that section is blank and no update it appears for the last 5 months as of April 2021. (Though I think this may be a license issue with Paizo as I’ve noticed similar items in other 3rd party apps)

The navigation of the app is alright, though some times when opening up a menu item it will not close and remain and you can run into multiple open drop downs and it gets frustrating to close out.

Also when creating a character it would be nice for a count of how much left in character building. This is most prevalent in ability scores and and skills.

This app is great for building a melee class, I have not yet tried a magic class, other than trying to build a cleric and finding the deity section blank as mentioned before.

This is a good app to use especially for beginners to get the feel for building a character in 2e, I hope the developers continue to improve the app.
Ilsahr,
Good so far, needs some more work.
I downloaded this as soon as I saw it, I’ve been searching for a Pathfinder 2e character sheet app for a while- the printed sheets for 2e are a bloody nightmare. I know the 5e app made by the developer is 5 stars, really an amazing app. I got this app and found that the character creation is quite helpful, and it’s very neatly arrayed, but the sheets are too big for my screen, and the ads block the buttons necessary to continue the creation process. I bought the premium version- totally worth it in the 5e version, but this one still is too big for me to see all of the information put into the sheet. It still needs some work, but it’ll be a great app once that happens!
Loyal chiver,
What an absolute lifesaver
Pathfinder 2E has an extremely long core rule book and some pretty extensive role playing options. It’s difficult to slog through the physical copy and character creation can be confusing when you’re learning the system. While I still keep a physical character sheet for games, this app is phenomenal at simplifying character creation and keeping track of stats and feats. Can’t wait to use this for a game. I also have this developers D&D 5E character sheet and while this is already great I know how much more he’ll improve this over time. Will have no problem paying for a premium upgrade. Nice job Walter, thanks for helping keep my hobby fun!
Dud Dirtfury,
Almost there, but still good
Playing through the abomination vaults, but my group did the beginner box first to test characters and see if we wanted to change anything. I came across this app and realized it would be a huge time saver. Pretty up to date on creation options too. Issues I had was not having the background I wanted from the player guide, which is part of an adventure path still coming out so really that’s OK, and the deity/domain menus were just blank (pretty big issue for my Cleric). That info is still pretty easy for me to add in on my own still, and MUCH FASTER than filling out a whole new sheet. Recommending to my fellow players even if it’s not fully up to snuff.
Zyre36,
New game but more of the same
Very good app, as I've come to expect from using the 5e version of the same. Familiar layout, easily accessible, I can't wait for the 1.0 version to hit
That said, this is a beta app, and there's some very obvious and glaring bugs, like unarmored AC having a Dex Cap of 0, or the name and range fields in the attack editor being numpad entry fields instead of keyboard fields. I look forward to it getting the polish it deserves, and I appreciate the developer's continuing dedication to getting us players quick and easy tools for tabletop gaming.
noobhakooh,
Exactly what I was looking for!
I know other users have experienced their own issues, but my interaction with this app has been excellent. I did initially run into an issue with the app crashing while trying to select a skill granted by my background, so I reached out to the seller. He was extremely responsive and worked with me to push out an update fixing the crash, and I haven’t experienced any issues since. As far as I can tell, the calculations for my characters look consistent with the 2e rulebook, and I am quite pleased with the app.
The One Player??????,
Pretty Useful
Speaking as a neophyte just starting to dip their toes into PF 2.0, I found the walk-through character creation very helpful. The only trouble I have so far as that when opening the three dots menu in the top right corner there’s no way to click out of it. Tapping the dots again opens the menu a second time on top of the one I’ve opened. Overall it seems like a handy tool for new players, but needs some refining.
D&Deities familia,
Needs fixing, but I’m hopeful
As soon as I saw this app, I knew I had to get it. I’ve been using the creator’s D&D 5e app and it’s great, so I thought the Pathfinder one would be just as good.

Well, it’s not there yet.

When I tried going through the character creator, the menu didn’t quite fit the screen. What’s worse, the ad took up the bottom part of the screen, so I couldn’t select “next” after choosing a feat.

So I paid a few bucks for the premium version. After all, it was worth it for D&D, and I’d need to in order to level up anyways.

There’s still no button for after I choose my ancestry feat. So I can’t even finish making my character.

With that said, I know this is still new. This is just a stumbling block that will be fixed in time. I’ll update this review as soon as the app is updated to fix this issue. I look forward to being able to make my characters with this.
Just A RandomPerson,
Seems like it would have been good
From downloading, the first thing I tried to do was create a character, but when I got to my feat…? (Couldn’t see the text at the top bc like other reviews too big menu), I tried tapping the select button and it just didn’t work, neither did the back button function, so I just couldn’t use the app. Seems like the app could’ve been useful, but doesn’t really function well enough.
ToruHighroller,
It’s functional
It works enough to make and run a character, but I’ve notice it doesn’t always save changes I make to the character. I’ve found myself having to write in a notebook changes I make in case they don’t save. By that point I may as well use paper and pencil. Until that is fixed I wouldn’t say it’s worth buying. The free version does enough to at least help new players make a character.
