Description

SET-CLASS FINDER is useful for:
- Students studying atonal or post-tonal music
- Composers, theorists, musicologists
- Teachers of music theory or composition

Set-Class Finder is a flexible tool that calculates any musical set from 0 to 12 different pitch classes, providing the following properties of the input set:

- Normal Form (Normal Order)
- Forte name with TnI transformation information
- Interval-Class Vector
- Prime form (both Forte and Morris/Rahn versions)
- Z-correspondent
- M/MI-related set-class
- buttons to flip set to its complement and inversion, showing all of the above information.

The set can be entered by typing it in (using 0-9, t/e or A/B for ten/eleven), or can be entered by tapping on the appropriate pitch-classes in the circle.

- rotate polygon (transpose) by tapping arrows
- go to a set's Z-correspondent by tapping in the z field
- go to a set's M/MI-related set-class by tapping in the m field
- when showing a set that has two different prime forms, the TnI information will include subscript "m" or "f" indicating which version the input is being measured from.
- in those sets with two prime forms, tapping on "m" or "f" will toggle algorithms
- a "preferred format for 10/11" setting is now at the top of the information view, which is saved to your device

Bug Fix:
- an erroneous set-class indication has been fixed for SC (7-z18)
