The SevaX App can be used to create a Seva Community and recruit volunteers. Volunteers can accept and complete requests. Once these tasks are completed and both sides do a peer-to-peer review, volunteers are then credited for the number of hours they worked. They can also seek help for themselves by redeeming their credits. However, members do not need to have earned credits to seek help. Members can also make offers to teach classes to one or more people. There is the notion of a “feed” that members can post relevant messages with photos / images / documents. These could be celebrations of their volunteer accomplishments or simply sharing articles about upcoming events.
Our platform adds four powerful motivators to increase and sustain volunteering; Validation, Extrinsic Rewards, Skills Mastery, and Gamification. Projects: You now have the ability to manage Requests under Projects. Earlier the hierarchy was Timebank > Groups -> Requests. With the addition of Projects, the hierarchy is Timebank -> Groups -> Projects -> Requests. This allows you to create logical collection of requests for a given group
Search: In earlier versions, the search capability was limited to exploring Timebanks and Groups within a Timebank. Search is now expanded to include Projects, Requests, Offers and Feeds.

Great app to marshall and manage volunteers
Our volunteer org was using a combination of spreadsheets and pencil/paper and email/Text to manage the workflow of tasks. This resulted in confusion and poor execution. The SevaX app allows us to streamline the tasks and manage the workflow effectively.

Best volunteer time tracking app
There are few apps that are able to track hours and synch to a volunteer organization well. Seva is doing a great job so far.
