iOS 17 crashes the app
great tool; there's no contact info on the support link nor in app (at least i cant access it due to this bug) so im writing this here trying to open most shaders crashes the app in iOS 17

Very useful tool but...
We really need the added option/feature to export a basic PBR materials folder (without having to right-click for “Show Package Contents”). Not only would this help current users but it would also make the app very appealing to potential users as well.

Update: The developer was very quick to accommodate the above request with an update. This app is an INCREDIBLY useful tool and I would definitely recommend you download it now.

Maybe I’m not sure what this is for
The fact that there’s no streaming camera texture support as an input makes this a lot less interesting than it could’ve been. The only time variant inputs appear to be “microphone” and “time”. No gyro, no ALS, no accelerometer, no heart-rate — really underutilized the available resources.

So I can drag and drop shader pieces on my tiny phone screen, so I guess that’s fun but I can do that better on a computer. My phone can do what my computer can’t — use that!

Absolutely stunning.
It’s amazing that an app like this fits in my pocket! Shade makes creativity something that’s right at your fingertips while making it easy for beginners to make incredible generative, evolving art. Lovely application that increases the possibility of the computers we have in our pockets or hold in our hands.

The Real Price
So the real price of this app, at the time of writing, is $15 for the ability to create shaders at all and $50 to export them. Not a terrible price all things considered. However the lack of transparency about this on the app’s store page makes me pretty uncomfortable about the business practice here. If you’re really just trying to pull off a ‘demo’ without having free and paid versions of the app, be more open about that. As it stands, this feels like a dupe.

Great but no way to reactivate from Beta version
Purchased pro version while it was still in Beta (same price as it is now). Loved it! However, I was not able to reactivate when it officially released. Wanted me to purchase again. (This is why I gave it a lower rating). Otherwise, great way to spend the long commute, if you love shaders.

Works great on iPad
I got the full version on my iPhone and then tried to run it on my ipad, but for some reason it didn’t think I owned it. After running the latest iOS update it decided I did.
