I really love this type of Reigns style gameplay. It’s simple to understand, but can be difficult to master. I feel like this game is a good starting point, but it gets very boring after a few run throughs.
The only story here is that you are trying to protect the Shadowhavens from your enemies, the Night.
You have three stats- Health, Strength, and Valor, 10 points in each. The objective is to collect a 10 amulets while keeping your stats above zero. You’ll encounter enemies or circumstances which will deplete one of two stats, and there are items and other circumstances where you will increase one of two stats based on which direction you swipe.
There needs to be more here in order to have real replayability, whether it’s cards in between with more storyline or the addition of collectible items, etc. I’m keeping this in my backlog with fingers crossed that there will be more content added in the future.
