The connection is horrible
I rated this game three stars because I’m giving it the benefit of the doubt. Although I can’t play the game, I hope it’s as good as it was a long time ago when I first played this game. The game won’t even let me join because it says it said I had a poor internet connection.

Update ended it all!!
I liked this game before than I reinstalled it to find energy!!! It was so dumb!! I used to like this game I could move at whatever pace I wanted and now I am stuck at a pace where I can’t get anything done!! The rest it okay but I much rather would play the old version this was just a simple disappointment

Fun, addicting game. Wish there were no in-app purchases
Fun, addicting, and yes, you're liable to waste a lot of time playing it. After all, that's what a good game makes you do, right?
This is a strategy/quest-like game that reminds me of a more active version of Final Fantasy and other RPG's.
I wish the knight's face looked better. He is really ugly! Shouldn't the hero be good-looking?
Also, I wish each, new location had a different background during actual game-play.
Last thing: it doesn't look like you actually have to purchase anything within the app in order to continue gameplay. It looks like its more of just a short-cut up the levels. I wish this game didn't have the in-app purchase options at all - especially when you have a kids playing this game. I'd much prefer getting X number of locations for free, then having to pay for the rest.

This is a strategy/quest-like game that reminds me of a more active version of Final Fantasy and other RPG's.
I wish the knight's face looked better. He is really ugly! Shouldn't the hero be good-looking?
Also, I wish each, new location had a different background during actual game-play.
Last thing: it doesn't look like you actually have to purchase anything within the app in order to continue gameplay. It looks like its more of just a short-cut up the levels. I wish this game didn't have the in-app purchase options at all - especially when you have a kids playing this game. I'd much prefer getting X number of locations for free, then having to pay for the rest.

Plenty of fun
This game is very fun to play. You simply move one finger vertically to direct your spear and the other to direct your shield, but it can be difficult to concentrate on both at once. The use of power-ups adds variety and strategy to the simple arcade gameplay. I am finding it to be challenging enough so I suspect the lack of variation in the enemy AI other reviewers mentioned in the earlier version has been corrected.
While the game is currently limited to a single player campaign, there is enough levels and power ups to last quite a while and the gameplay remains fresh throughout the campaign for me. In addition, the developers have promised an online multiplayer upgrade is coming, so consider buying this now while the sale price lasts.
Finally, the graphics, sounds and music are all top notch. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Good Update, BAD IAP!
I love this game. And although I love free updates, I feel I've been ripped off by the in app purchases. The new "classes" ask you to purchase them. But then they're not UNLOCKED. You switch back to another class, via a purchase called "improve class" and not only do they not inform you of what stats are raised, you're literally paying to switch classes EVERY TIME. I have seen nothing in any menus that allows you to switch your class without purchase. I mean it, he IAP is the only way to switch classes and it charges you every single time. I thought it would come up and say "you've already purchased this" but nope. Fix this, open up the classes to those that make the purchase, and for the love of all that is holy, EXPLAIN WHAT THESE PURCHASES MEAN instead of vague "improve class" nonsense. My review will stay at one star until pretty major issue is resolved. I won't start scream refund. I will however say: BUYER BEWARE!!

Intuitive, challenging, addictive
The game's intuitive controls make it easy to pick up and start playing. It's easy enough to not be frustrating, yet shooting for the coveted 3-star rating ramps up the difficulty for those who want it. The option to buy gold to gain abilities faster exists, but you earn it at a reasonable enough pace that it's not at all necessary. Strategy changes drastically depending on the abilities you pick which encourages multiple play-throughs.

Great game!
Lots of fun, no hidden costs or reason to spend real money. This app actually gives you enough in game money to buy what you need to advance. Like 99% of apps they don't give you enough gems to upgrade your knights class but you can still upgrade your armor level, with in game money, by replaying the levels you already passed. This should make sense after you play the game. 9 out of 10 apps I review get 1 star. This app is a lot of fun and a great time killer.
