Description
The Sheepshead Scorer app can now make scoring your Sheepshead card games a lot easier. Up to seven players can be entered and it can score individual hands of three to seven players.
The rotate Sit Out feature can be used to automatically rotate sitting out players for each hand regardless of the number of players. And if a player leaves the game temporarily or permanently, you can just use the Left Game button to keep his score the same while you keep playing more hands. You can override any of these buttons at any point as players come or go.
Doublers and double on the bump along with reversing past hands are features also included. If you add doublers for hands ahead, there is a counter for keeping track of how many doublers are ahead. The Deal feature keeps track of the dealer and rotates automatically for you.
All you have to do is enter player names and then score each hand by choosing a Picker and Partner along with a hand outcome.
Additional features show player standings(score, wins, losses, hands picked, partner) and history of the hands for the current game, and standings of all games. Emailing of the standings or hands history is also available.
The iPhone and and iPad colorful and simple user interface sure makes it easy!!!

Now when a new player comes to the table to play after you already started a game, you can move existing player positions to open a seat in the correct position for the new player. This keeps the nice ordering of the players on the scoring app that matches how they are seated around the table, and then keeps scoring easier!

Now if the stakes of a hand are more than double, you can use the DOUBLER button to change the stakes factor to x3, x4, x8, or x16 as well.
The change in score for the Picker and Partner is shown below the SCORE HAND button so you can be sure that you scored it right before hitting the SCORE HAND button.

Solid scoring app
Thanks for making this! Its been useful. I like the ability to have a rotating seat to sit out for when you’ve got 6-7 people.
A couple new feature ideas:
1. Have a screen that shows all the trump cards as a reference for newer players.
2. Indicator for the called suit. Sometimes our games move slowly with interruptions and someone always forgets this.
3. Allow inserting a player in a particular position after the game has started. We had someone show up late and had to enter him in the last seat but it was not the position that he was sitting in. So I had to manually change the dealer token around. This works fine but is easy to mess up after a few 🍺 and a little 🌳.

Great scoring app
This is a pretty neat little app that is so handy to use. I’ve figured out a workaround for how to score when players come into the game late and then sit somewhere other than after the last player, but it would be great if you could add the ability to add a player and choose the position. (Right now I just either start a new game and use the player history feature or ask the new player to sit next to the person that was my last entry.)

I was worried for a while that the developer wasn’t updating the app anymore but not only has it been updated for the new iOS, they’ve even added some more features. Great job!

Great!
Makes it easy to see the game history. Stats are interesting to review, wins, losses, picks, partner. Auto dealer sits out feature and dealer movement take question away of who dealt last. Lester's, doubles, playing alone all handled easily.

Help! My favorite sheepshead scoring app is no longer functional. Let’s get this thing update so I can continue to love this app and use it for decades of more sheepshead. Otherwise amazing.

True sheepshead players get it
You wonder how people ever lived before using this app! Playing sheepshead without a scoring app like is like playing cribbage without a cribbage board. You can still keep score, but it becomes a long, painful process. Exciting, perhaps, for flexing your mental arithematic skills, but only slowing down the game while everyone waits for you to finish computing the standings. A sheepshead game app would be fun to, but I would actually take the scoring app first, again, because now you can spend more time playing and less time waiting for the scorekeeper.
Neal's app has the beauty of being a 'thin' but transparent tool which nonetheless does the job it needs to do. It is simple and straightforward to use. I believe we will see additional features down the road. Who knows, maybe the exposure on iTunes will help continue to spread the popularity of the game. Great work.

Useless
I have played many games and have never not been able to at least start a game. I press the new game button and it asks if I am sure. I press yes nothing happens. I press no nothing happens. There is no deal or new deal button. I have read the instructions twice, the second time slowly and they are of no use. It will do nothing except give me tons of options but no cards. I thought this was a card game??? If there is some truck to it I would line to know but as it sits this app is beyond useless!!!!
