Mindful and meditative – wonderful app
I really love this app. I am actually Christian; a Jewish friend of mine mentioned it to me, saying that she uses it as part of her morning routine.
I don’t understand Hebrew, so I do like the English translation, although I expect it does not cover all the Hebrew. I love the singing and the various flavors (melodies and beats) that Rabbi Shefa Gold has brought to these verses. She is simply wonderful and so creative! I have recently looked at her website and I am considering delving into it further.
This app has become an integral part of my morning devotionals. I absolutely love it and have recommended it to all my Jewish friends. ❤️

Best way to start the day
I listen to one of these each morning before I get out of bed and it sets me up for a day of noticing the many daily miracles. There are so many moods to choose from, it’s like an affirmation that you are not alone and that you can start from wherever you are right now to see the miracles. I love how the tunes stick in my head and replay all day long, reminding me to look for all there is to be grateful for.

Lovely in every way
From the beautiful melodies, to the familiar prayer, to the bright colors, this app really delivers joy! I already have an extensive morning chant practice that includes writing my own chants in both Hebrew and Aramaic … yet, I always make time for Rabbi Shefa’s app. That is how special it is. It’s worth taking time for, no matter what your age, stage, or relationship to chant. Thank you, Rabbi, for this wonderful gift, and thank you, G-d for flowing the inspiration her way. ❤️

Shefa is pure LOVE 💗
This is an amazing app. And I am not one to like apps. But this one has so many amazing features that delight and surprise you. I won’t give away the fun surprises but I’ll just say it’s really fun and easy to use and a beautiful way to start the day. I’m playing the chants over and over again since I don’t want them to end! Meaningful way to start the day
I am learning to deeply appreciate this app as the best way to start the day. It helps me to center, to appreciate the gift of the day and to deepen my spirituality. Each time I listen, I go a little deeper. In this time of great instability before the November election, I need all the spirit and belief available and what a wonderful to find this.

Somewhat Limited but Inspiring
While it's the basic modim- it has lovely vocal variety- emphasizing the words and their meaning , making them fresh every day....helps me start my day with prayer. When I start my day with prayer I'm more likely to get in my morning noon night and bedtime prayers - and draws me closer spirit more mindful of The Holy One, Blessed is He, that surrounds me with miracles and wonders, daily. I have purchased her first book with the companion book - really wonderful, joyful.

Combo of familiar and novel
Doing a familiar prayer can be comforting, de-stressing, meaningful. However over time it can become rote and lose its meaning and intentionality. Doing a novel prayer requires attention to say/chant, but may not always allow the meaning of words to be there. Shefa’s combo of a familiar prayer gives the opportunity of experiencing the best of both familiar and novel

This app has helped me to integrate prayer into my morning routine. Previously I had no prayer morning routine and this is a lovely way to help me transition into my day. Afterwards, I list all the things for which I am grateful and I start my day on a positive note.
