Shift is not boring. And Shift, if you aren't any good at it, only takes thirty seconds to play. And lets face it, you're just not going to be any good at it. I mean, maybe with time and dedication? Who knows, you could get the knack of energy transfers and making star matches to cause meltdowns to gain a few seconds back on the clock at the absolute last possible moment ... but lets be honest with each other; do you REALLY think you have the manual dexterity, the sheer force of will, the temerity to persevere and NOT FOLD UNDER THE PRESSURE!?
Of course you do. And so, The Frantic awaits you. And so does The Calm, just in case it turns out the pressure is too great.

* The Calm *
Thirty turns to rake in the best score you can - no timer, no stress. Make a match, keep your turn. Make a star match and get a turn back! The more efficient you are with your moves, the higher your score bonus will be at the end.
* The Frantic *
We've revamped timed mode to be far more ... well, frantic. 30 seconds is all you have now - you'll get a second back onto the clock for each match, and three seconds for a star match.
Both all new game modes have new leaderboards - who among you can keep Tsavong (thats us!) out of the first place spot?
== New UI Options ==
You can now toggle between the original dark UI and a new light UI from the pause menu. Just tap the dot in the upper left corner.
== New Tile Colors ==
Bored with teal? Us too. We've added lots of new color options for the game. You can pick the one you like best from the settings menu, or leave it on random to keep things fresh.
== Music ==
Hand crafted, artisanal mood music to enhance your Frantics and your Calms.
== Misc ==
- You can now toggle sounds from the pause menu.
- Fixed an issue where sounds sometimes didn't work when the game started up.
- Fixed some display issues on smaller screens.
- Your best score is now displayed for each mode on the menu screen so you know what to beat.
- Moved the pause button to the bottom of the screen on 3.5" screens

Wow...
I rarely ever find a game I like. I’ve had an Xbox for 3 years and still only really play one game on it (Left4Dead, if you’re wondering). I have a very small handful of games on my iPhone, and I only really play a couple of those. Well - I used to. Now I pretty much just play this. Like, all the time. Get this game. Trust me.

An addicting puzzle for sure
Shift is simple enough yet has the right amount of challenge to make it addictive. I ended up playing it for much longer than I should (missed my metro stop). Also a fan of any game I can play one handed! A great puzzle game that I would recommend to anyone.
