A greeting from the heart, my name is Karsten Küstner and I would like to welcome you here on the shift app.
It is the app that combines the wisdom of self hypnosis and meditation into a powerful every day life guidance system for creating true shifts in your life. The endeavor is to make these powerful mind tools connect to your everyday life. So, you don't have to become this weirdo who does hypnosis by mumbling strange formulas to yourself or others, or a monk type meditative human being in order to live a fulfilling, peaceful and meaningful life. I would like to strip away at least some of the weirdness of ancient techniques and bring back the grace and awe inspiring power they can have in shifting the way we live our lives here on Earth today, and possibly bring us more in touch with our innate selves, our nature and thus in touch with nature around us, including other human beings who we are in relationship of varying degrees of intimacy with.
If you feel something is off in your life, maybe it is the way your relationships go or your work life stresses you out or you are fearful in some area of you life, you are right here. You find tools that bring about shifts. And by shifts I mean changes that are not just ideas that something might have hopefully changed in your life, but changes in feeling, leading, and generating your life and mastering its ever appearing opportunities. A real shift is something you cannot discuss away or think "maybe" something might be different. A shift is: "I was just out in the snow making snowballs with my bare hands and they felt like they were freezing off. Now I am inside warming my hands in front of a fireplace and they are tingling and almost burning from the warmth." That is a change that you just know is there. And I would like to show you that changes of the mind are just as possible to create as bodily changes, if you know how to create a "mental fireplace" and mental "inside the house", and when you know when it is time to get the hands out of the snow because they are turning blue, and it is time to go inside.
"I was desperate and sad, and now I feel connected, fulfilled and full of warmth" is the mental equivalent of the snow and fireplace metaphor. The behavioral equivalent could be: "In my relationship I kept on hurting my partner with the same destructive words that came out of my mouth at certain times, and now I have completely released that part that entertained this kind of destructive behavior, and my relationship feels as loving, connected and exciting as it has never felt before".
In order to get a good basis for your shifts in your own life, I would recommend starting with the 17 day course on mastering shift self hypnosis. But of course feel free to dive into other courses, talks, interviews and teachings if you feel inclined to do so.
