Pros: nice interface, great EQ with custom presets, easy playlist creation, none of the Apple online services (yes, that’s a good thing), no attempt at recreating the Apple “up next” travesty, accessed music library but doesn’t see playlists.

Cons: no iPad version, no apparent way to share playlists or EQ presets between devices

So, if one wants to only play back from a phone and needs EQ settings for multiple audio systems this is a solid app with a nice interface. It will not replace the app Equalizer on my phone for when in need EQ presets (eg. Bluetooth speakers) though. Am still stuck with the the Apple app to sync playlists. If this app could get the playlists from the Apple app the way Equalizer does, it would get 5 stars and become my go to playback app.

Beautiful interface, for incredible Aonic SE215’s series2. ( Now I wish I’d spent some more on the higher-series!). But, these are awesome and LOUD!!! Tried the Sony WX1004’s my mother had, but they’re overrated, and not LOUD ENOUGH! Not for me, at least. In a year, I’ll likely move up to a higher version of this series. Maybe 2-3 driver. Also! VERY COMFORTABLE, and secure. Takes some getting used to putting them on; never used over-ear earbuds before. But they simply never fall-out, or come loose. Great sound/product Shure!!! Keep that up, and bless you.

Needs customizable controls & user adjustable EQ for environment mode. The new Environment mode has ear piercing amounts of hiss even at the lowest setting 😭. Much less usable now.

Loving my AONIC250’s! Missing the ability to customize the controls on the headset however. Having customized controls for each ear would be a huge plus. Being able to enable environment mode with a single press for example (as a customizable setting) would help the hearing impaired significantly with accessibility (vs missing a double press and feeling a bit stupid about it). Also, it was in the manual that calls would only come out of one ear with this headset but if it is possible to update this in the future it would be great for accessibility and the hearing impaired.

Title says it all- the app functions perfectly on iPhones and works fine on iPads but provides the iPhone display. It doesn’t seem to grab Apple playlists, but it’s fine for managing your Shure BT devices.

Works fine with the AONIC TW system and had a custom configuration available for the SE846, which smooths out the iOS volume settings very well. It’s also got a facility for firmware updates as they arise in the future.

Still getting used to tuning the EQ for my Aonic 50s. One thing I noticed is that it does not go into landscape mode like the instructions say - making it very difficult to pinpoint where I am dragging the levels in portrait mode. Also, the battery level doesn’t seem to go down from 100%. It’s just stuck, whereas when I go to the battery level on my phone it will show it is something different. Overall, very useful app but I hope they can fix these issues.

Application is almost perfect. Some suggestions that would be useful:

Ability to switch mic on headphones via app. Connection is usually first paired headphone. It would also be good to switch since the mic headphone is also the head phone that drains battery faster. This will let us get more usage out of a single charge.

Ability to export EQ settings. I would like to share my EQ settings across my devices so no matter what I connect to my headphones sound the same.

Adjust changes with only one headphone connected.

I went out of my way to buy a solid pair of earbuds that can swim in my sweaty summer workouts and transition nicely to under my motorcyle helmet. And they did that at first. Now the right one is completely dead and getting answers on replacements or refunds is like pulling teeth. The app allows interesting features that most consumers aren’t used to seeing- which is cool, but it really needs to smoothly allow for warranty and repair, as these two areas are the complete circle for the whole customer experience.

It is superior to the built in player in every way supporting even a basic parametric equalizer which come including several different useful presets and supporting several high resolution formats. There are other options that offer more but the ones I encountered cost money, have severe bugs, include ads or some combination.

The app works well with my Shure bluetooth headset. Very good experience so far. More importantly, I appreciate this app minimizes the required permissions compared to other companies’ bluetooth headset apps which collect unnecessary information.

This app has saved my tail a couple of time when having to pair new device to the buds. Really easy. There is also an adequate EQ with several presets as well as the option to tweak the presets if you wish.
