Shuttle Tracker lets you track the real-time locations of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute campus shuttle buses with crowd-sourced location data. Now more accurate than ever before, never miss the shuttle again!

• Board Bus augments GPS data with crowd-sourced location data, even for buses that don’t have GPS hardware.
• Announcements deliver timely information, such as schedule changes, right in the app.

We’re releasing this update to prepare for some massive improvements that we plan to deploy early next year.
• Shuttle Tracker now automatically detects errors and uploads diagnostic logs when they occur. You can see a record of recently uploaded logs or disable automatic uploads entirely in Settings > Logging & Analytics within the app.
• We’ve made many small design improvements throughout the app.
The new logging system is the first step towards an entirely new initiative that will dramatically increase Shuttle Tracker’s tracking coverage. Stay tuned for the big announcement early next year. In the meantime, remember to use Board Bus whenever you ride the shuttle!

This hotfix update fixes a few bugs that were introduced in the previous update. It also changes the bus-selection sheet to show the suggested bus ID in the main ordered grid of bus IDs in addition to the suggestion section.

Our next big update is here! Shuttle Tracker is ready for the Fall ’22 semester.
• With our Dynamic Routes feature, you’ll see different routes separately on the map, each drawn in a unique color.
• Unviewed announcements are now highlighted and are no longer included in the badge number, so you’ll know what’s new and what you don’t need to re-read.
• The re-center button now ensures the complete visibility of all routes on the map.
• We’ve made some minor design improvements and fixed some bugs.

The next big update to Shuttle Tracker is here!
• The default maximum distance away from a stop at which you can board a bus is now 50 meters. If the setting doesn’t update automatically, then you can manually change it in Settings > Advanced.
• We’ve significantly improved the app’s navigation structure, so it’s now much easier to find information and additional functionality.
• Board Bus requires location access, so we’ll now prompt you to share your location.
• We’ll notify you if you forget to tap “Leave Bus”.
• You can re-center the map with the new re-center button.

There’s a lot that’s new in this update! We’ve overhauled the onboarding flow; added some advanced settings, such as the maximum distance away from a stop at which you can board a bus; implemented some small improvements to the UI layout in many different parts of the app; and fixed many bugs, including the one that made the route and stop graphics flicked whenever the map was refreshed.

This is the best Shuttle Tracking app at RPI!!!
I can honestly say there does not exist a better shuttle-tracking app at RPI. Sometimes it almost works! It is also written in Swift which is the best language

What’s the point of a shuttle tracker when it doesn’t track any shuttles. Most of the time the map is empty while shuttles are coming and going

This app is the best. Now I can get to classes on time! Yay! If you’re an RPI student this app is a must-have.

slow and innaccurate
I liked the website much better. Shuttles often disappear on the map and it takes a while to reload. Sometimes the app is fine but other times it simply does not work.
