If you're an accountant at heart, this game is genuinely the most fun you'll have without Excel. I sound sarcastic, but I'm serious. It's completely free, no catch. The in game boosts are only to speed up construction, it's perfectly playable without, and you get a decent chunk of boosts free anyway daily and with accomplishments. I'm one of those players that likes rags to riches style gameplay in life simulators, and the financial aspect is what's fun for me. This is basically that, without the graphics and with WAY more data and factors to consider. I'm obsessed honestly. Despite the in game boosts being in no way required or even really important, I'm fully intending on buying some soon just to say thanks to the dev for making such an incredibly data rich game that makes my nerdy little heart happy. I never bother reviewing games but this one is something incredibly special.

I love this game! This game is one of the best I have played. I have only been playing for a little over a month, and am already addicted. (In a good way) My friend and I play it, so it is even more fun. I love the real feel of the game and it’s economy. There is a great community of players ready to help whenever. I asked for a little bit of advice on what was the best industry, and another player responded within minutes giving me all sorts of advice, and they even checked in for a few days to see how it was working out. Also since I am busy, sometimes I don’t have time to play. This game lets you pop in and out whenever. You can also spend a lot of time on it too. (When I am bored) I would love this games and truly think it is a piece of art.

There is now reason that this doesn’t have millions of downloads.

It’s not some mindless, simple “tycoon” game or Sims game... it doesn’t hold your hand. You either form a strategy, do the math, pay attention to the economy, etc... or you’ll never make a profit. It takes a while you get going unless you buy boosters — which is cheating in my book— but once you get your sales and production up it’s very rewarding.

My only issue with it is the navigation is clunky. Like there’s no “back” button, so if you’re in the warehouse and select a product to see what it’s selling for in the exchange, to get back to your warehouse you’d have to select your map again, and then your warehouse. Not a big deal but annoying. Also, the tutorial is not very good; it shows you a basic cycle of production and selling but the game is so nuanced that it really needs a more thorough walk through.

Ever wanted to create a business? This game is it. As close to the real thing as any game I’ve ever played about business. Only have a few moments to check into a game? No problem on this one, spend hours on a game? No problem here. The depth of this game is fantastic. If could even be more in depth, but for simplicity, this game is absolutely awesome. Real business relationships, real accounting processes, dozens of different routes you can take, want to be strictly a bond buyer bank? Doable. Want to have nothing but a farm and raise cattle for profits? Doable. Want to be an aerospace titan? Doable. Just a gold company, doable. Want to combine two of those together? Doable. Really outstanding game and I feel few if any would be disappointed at anything on this game! Many kudos to the creators!!!

First off I LOVED this game. I was successful with all the business ventures I wanted to try. I tried to do the oil industry, where your oil rigs have a “abundance” percentage. The higher the percentage the more you got. If the building had a low percentage you had a chance to rebuild. I tried for 6 DAYS of rebuilding the oil rigs every 2-4 hours, used up over 500 stars for quicker building time, tried different places over the map ( had 5 rigs at a time being built), and I had only 1 oil rig being at an ok percent to produce ok levels of oil. I said screw it and deleted the game. I rebuilt those rigs 150+ times for nothing. Developers need to come up with something that after so many rebuilds you get some sort of break.

Very fun game for me to play as I like the numbers and figures behind running a business. The mechanics have a very nice level of complexity allowing you to run the company how you would like without getting too far into the weeds of accounting.

I also very much agree that this would be an awesome tool for use in classrooms. We always hear how high school students aren’t being taught practical skills for the real world, and this would be an excellent way to teach topics like supply/demand, overhead fees, benefits of professional relationships. The list goes on…

This game is definitely worth checking out! Once you do, it will be hard to stop in my opinion.
The mobility of the game and how you are able to coordinate through every option available with ease is phenomenal. It has real life business and economy gameplay. A market that has gains and losses in profit value, paying for transport on items being sold, and the ability to dominate each industry.

I love the game straight up. It is very broad and complex but the community Is very helpful. This game has a massive economy of its own with suppliers and sellers all trying to expand and experiment.
I only started playing 3 days ago and I’ve got the hang of it thanks to other helpful players and the in-game encyclopedia.
The game is not very well known and there are hardly any youtubers promoting it. However, given that it’s a hidden gem just makes me like it even more.
I rated 4-stars because it still has more room for improvement in the interface. But overall, well done to the developer(s). I hear it was originally made to be played by a group of friends but eventually expanded to house thousands worldwide.

This game is amazing, if u really wanna look into a virtual business world this is the exact game. Game takes lil to really get the idea but really smarter u play the more money n easier it is to grow, the bond system is amazing the way u can transfer money with interest really brings out the business aspect even more. You can also research and upgrade quality of almsot every item, specialize in one or every item in the market, been playing for a few weeks and i cant stop, this is a real review!!! COME GET UR BAGGG$$$$$$

Like starting an actual business patience is key. There is no fast way to riches in SimCompanies and the game is actually very well made.

It’s rather boring unless you find yourself a good company group. They advertise in the sellers channel so find yourself a good group if you aren’t playing with an academic affiliation.

Going at it alone is boring but if you have a Corp group to chat with it is a lot of fun and off exchange trading groups can be a massive benefit to saving costs on transport and exchange fees.

It’s a simple game that takes but maybe 10 minutes each day if you play it the right way and it’s a lot of fun to chat with the business groups and monitor growth of the company.

You can be super hands on and set hourly production minima and micromanage or you can be hands off load up on bonds and make massive production minima and send off daily contracts quickly.

The learning curve is deep and is not easy. So find a group or be prepared to study the book.
