Description

Simetim is an elegant, simple, yet fully featured meditation timer and logger.

The basic version has bells, a visual progress indicator and a counter.

The premium version brings logging and statistics, intervals, reminders - features that can aid your practice long term. Additionally, there is a number of exclusive colour themes, pictures and sounds.

The main colour theme has been made with a low contrast between colours, so that it blends well with the surroundings when meditating in the dark.

A beginner or a seasoned veteran, let Simetim accompany you while you meditate and practice mindfulness. Or while you "quieten your mind and come to your senses” (as Alan Watts said)

Best timer out

Love this timer and it’s no-nonsense approach. I have no interest in guided meditations, achievements or posting about how much I meditate and this app cuts all that away. The log is still nice to have for personal tracking and this app has the best I’ve used on here as well.

One request would be to add a feature that allows the user to put interval bells at a specific time. E.g - sometimes I like to meditate for 10 min with eyes open and then 5 with eyes shut. Would be cool if there was a way to have the chimes let me know when to close my eyes.

My favorite!

I love this meditation app for its simplicity and beauty. If you are looking for a meditation timer that offers all the function without the distraction and is wrapped in a beautiful package, this is the one. The developer was very responsive when I made a minor recommendation to remove the splash screen. Thank you!

Simple, Customizable, Practical

I’ve tried more than a dozen meditation timer apps, but Simetim has been my go-to app for the past four years. Simple to use, but personal preference are easy to set.

I enjoy the flexibility of being able to tweak the settings to meditate by myself at home or sitting with a group at work.

What I like about this app the most are:
- beautiful bell sounds like none other in other apps;
- no-nonsense, practical interface for setting the timer and just sitting;
- presets that allow you to save different lengths, intervals, and different bell sounds;
- no distracting features like community, audio guides, or meditation courses.

Doesn’t Save Timer

I like this app overall, but it has a big failure.

I think one of the things I liked was the ability to set a long timer. But I rarely sit for the whole timer.

When I cancel the timer, it doesn’t save the sat time in Health. So it’s failing to track meditation time.

What’s the point of integration if it doesn’t work?

Free version. Thanks for the clarification. I may have missed your description, I didn’t know it was an upgradeable option. Will consider it in my search for a good timer app.

Just what I wanted

I was looking for a meditation timer that was simple, elegant, not intrusive, that I could use for my silent meditation. And It has nice bell or chime sounds. It's nice to be able to see the time elapsed during a session, from time to time, in an unobtrusive manner, with a nice aesthetic visual. No numbers, no extra stuff, just a beautiful circle that fills with color as time goes by. The dev clearly put a lot of thought into this. An app for meditation.

Very nice

One of the nicest meditation timers available. I've tried several, but the visual simplicity and the wealth of options makes this a new favorite. The only problem I've noticed is that some of the backgrounds and lettering provide poor visual contrast which makes reading the info a bit difficult, but that's a minor issue. It's still a five star app.

Best on statistics

Statistics and note taking were my main focus looking for a mediation app and this one delivers. The ui is well designed although it could use a bit of polish at the time of this review.

Great timer

I don't need social networking, guided meditations or groups to join just a straight forward timer simple and to the point.

Works great

This app is great for meditation and I use it everyday. I prefer it over any other timer and its a simple design, perfect for my sessions.
