...but the implementation is flawed. Once you find the treasure, the timer should stop, your score should be recorded and you should have the option to start a new game. Instead, once you find the treasure, the timer keeps going, the "high" is always 9999 and the only way to restart to to quit the game and relaunch.

For those that don't understand how to play: picture yourself in a hedge maze (like in the movie version of the shining) and the blue triangle is showing which way the treasure is located. You can only move or turn into an open area (not a complete four-sided wall [top, right, left, bottom]). The idea is to find the treasure as quickly and in as few moves as possible (even though the game doesn't track the latter.)

...It takes a while to get the gameplay, and after that you're not too sure where to go after a minute. Then, it's just too easy. Now, I'm like the last guy who would give a !@#$ about graphics, but those graphics stink so much...! The gameplay should be easier, the game should be longer and harder. This game really needs am update!

This application looks great and works great! It's a remake of RatRun, one of the first and coolest videogames ever made, which I played endlessly on the Commodore64 back at the beginning of the 80's. Compared to that the graphics are ultra-high tech and super-realistic. I can't believe people would complain about such a cool game that works perfect and is offered for free. You should be ashamed of yourselves! Thanks for the blast from the past!

This is a delightfully simple little game. I haven't experienced any problems with the app disappearing or freezing. And it's fun. I don't see what confuses people about it, the controls are basic, the graphics are basic, the concept is basic. There aren't any parts complicated enough to be confusing. So what's the problem people have with it?

When I decided I wanted to download a maze app, I was expecting something that I could actually solve. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. With this app, I was very confused and overall unentertained. I want to buy an app that is fun, not one that makes me feel stupid, like this one did. After 30 minutes of trying to solve the maze, I gave up and deleted the app, and will never even think about playing it again. Please don't do as I did and spend the effort downloading this waste of time. It will not pay off.

it's not the most advanced game out there (obviously), but it's a pretty good distraction to kill some time. it's retro, which is kinda cool. almost makes me somewhat nostalgic for Atari in a weird way. I don't know why people say it's complicated, it's really not. I'll admit I was a little confused by the red arrow for a bit, but if you pay attention it's pretty simple. in short, a pretty good game.

It's worth it to kill some time and is pretty easy. Just get the blue part pointing forward (up) to find treasure than follow the compass to find the goal! Reminds me of the Atari and is fun. Only problem is that it's
ambiguous at first and at the end the goal is just a wall which is kind of confusing to learn. For 2008 though, this rocks! 8/10

I have searched for this game again for years. I think I first saw it on a TRS-80 or Apple II. Yes, it seems primitive now but it was just so novel then and must certainly be one of the foundations for current 3D gaming software. Still good for teaching the concept of 2D mapping of a 3D image. Thanks to whomever rolled it out again.

I beat the game in about 714 seconds
During that time I thought I was going to go nuts and shoot my iPod. The endless black with white lines is enough to drive anyone nuts. Sometimes I found myself wondering what I was looking at.

Also the end really had me confused.
I ran around for 714 seconds and then...YOU FOUND THE CLEARING. GAME OVER. It looked the same as everywhere else I went. The game didn't give me a try again option, nor did it give me a high score option. All it did was game over.

This app is terrible. I downloaded it because it was free, and was dissapointed. Very boring, basic graphics. Also, boring game play. Another thing, after finishing a game, you cannot exit. You sit at the game over screen untill you decide to reset your iPod. Apple, do you even test these apps before they go through? I would imagine not, considering the amount of new apps every day, but really, the developers should have prevented this. If only zero stars were an option.
