I Really like the app although…
This app is amazing! The best part about it is that you can get better at drawing AND if you think your not so good, you’ll think your drawing should be in a art museum! I know, I know, I sound like I’m one of the people in the simply piano ads but it’s true! The only thing that I’m really mad about is the courses. I just heard about the app today even though the app came out like a year ago or something is what i heard. So I’ve read all the other reviews and I’ve seen that people have written that they could only take the nature course AND that when they did take the nature course they could only take the tree, the mushroom, the sailboat and the cabin. But they also said that this has been going on for a year so I would really appreciate if you fixed that! Thank you for reading!

AMAZING would recommend
Like most apps, there would be tons of ads, pay to learn most lessons, watch ads for lessons, etc, but this app has none of those. I just finished my first lesson, the winter tree. But I honestly think landscapes are more my thing. I will soon start my 2nd lesson but i would want landscaping next. Im deciding to start with the winter tree, mushroom, daisy, and more. This is because the landscapes has more nature in it, so it would be good to learn how to draw nature then add a thing humans use. (House, boat, tent, and more.) I do agree simply draw makes creating art easier. I rated 5/5 because I mean it. This app is perfect for a beginner artist. Thank you for reading!

Good app, but I had a terrible experience.
So, the app is generally great, I had no problems with the app’s content in the like, 15 minutes of my usage, but I could not move on after the sailboat lesson, because I had to take a picture of my work. Now, normally, I would have no problems with that, but my camera is glitched and no longer works, so I could not move on to the next lesson because I HAD to take a picture, which, honestly I think is dumb, and should be optional, for privacy reasons, and I wish there was an option where you could import a photo from your camera roll, or something like that, instead, if you don’t want to take a picture directly.

The best app ever
So I got art stuff for my birthday and I thought I was really bad at drawing so I kept trying and trying and I just thought I was never gonna be good at drawing but then I saw this ad a couple times and I tried it and I loved it and when it asked me to read it, I usually don’t rate apps and I’m like no it’s not even good enough to get a rate but simply draw I automatically like immediately just did it and I showed my stepdad and he said, where did you learn how to draw so good and I said the best app ever Simply Draw

I wish you could do a lot more
I know a lot of things are coming soon, but I just want to mention some thing. Honestly there should be a draw your own thing you don’t have to pick a thing like I just want to drop planet and flags but I can’t do that. Also, I want there to be an option where you can basically auto complete a thing if you already know it and you could just do a task draw or a test to draw or you could practice to draw and if you are good enough, it will already complete it I really like this app but I wish you could just skip some things

I love drawing and I wanna do it more often, but I have never been confident in my skills, which causes me to barely do it. So i decided to better my skills and develop my confidence about drawing my finding an app to teach me. Lo and behold I found Simply Draw, it had amazing reviews, big promises and a great rating so I gave it a try and am happy to say I love it. Great knowing that I don’t have to rush and learned that I can take my time and enjoy the process. I’ve been doing the drawings both on paper and digitally so I can practice both forms of drawing and it’s honestly been fun and I can’t wait to learn more.

THE BEST APP FOR LEARNING TO DRAW!
I have been drawing for years now but I wanted to get better. I saw an ad for this and figured I’d try it. I was shocked to find that it was free! I set up my path in about a minuet and started right away. The first lesson took little time. It went step by step and even had a part at the end where I could take a picture of my drawing to critique it! I would recommend this app to anyone who wants to better their drawing ability.

Needs a better system
Personally I really like this app and all but I often find that the tutorial is 6 steps ahead of me already when it’s been 30 seconds! I ask for a slow video playback feature with 0.25 to 1.0 speed or more.
Another issue is the explaining I find that the tutorial draws stuff without even mentioning it! Or explaining how to do it.
For example the lips on the side profile.
And more importantly how to shade! This is meant for artists who want to learn and they give no such tutorial!
Please add these features to the app to make them less of an inconvenience!

Really helps!
I’ve been using this app since yesterday and I’m already so much better! I know I sound like those Simply Piano ads but it is true in my case. I really expected it to be charged but no, surprisingly and to my relief. I can finally learn how to shade properly, and I challenge myself to finish the whole thing. I’m excited for Simply Draw to release animals because it is one of my favorites to draw! Thank you for whoever read all this :))

Great app! One suggestion>
I love the format of this app and what it teaches you besides drawing, that drawing should be an over all positive experience. Great message, and I’ve learned plenty from the videos. However, only the Portrait and nature pathways are open to use, which is fine but it’s been a year since I got this and they’re still not open. Also the personalized pathways are still in the works, and have taken just as long if not more so, since before I started using the app.
