Scroll View on iPhone - It was always causing us problems so we rewrote it and it’s now under control

Share Button in iMessage App - We never could understand why the share button didn't want to be right front and center. We gave it a stern talking to and now it's happily centered



Apple Watch

The Apple Watch version was the first version of Sitcom and on a personal note it was the first app I ever released on the App Store. Sitcom for Apple Watch has been completely rewritten. Not a single line of code transferred over. Sitcom for Apple Watch now plays sound effects right when you press the button. No more pushing a button, waiting for a new screen to load, pushing a button, waiting for a new screen to load, and then hearing your sound. We’ve been working on this for about a year now and we’re really excited. Sitcom is one of very few sound effects apps for Apple Watch to play sounds directly from the Apple Watch speaker.

Many of you thought the icon was too dark. We held it closer to the sun and it is now brighter.

Bug Fixes:
McLearan crest didn't look right. It does now.

The icon has been updated to better fit the new design language introduced with Sitcom Pro

Bug Fixes:
Share button in the iMessage app was too attached to the left side but we set it straight and now it sits happily in the center of the screen

Introducing version 2.1. This update will change the way you use Sitcom. From the start Sitcom was great for face-to-face conversations. It allowed you to turn your boring conversations into a cheesy Sitcom. Now in version 2.1 you can text your friends Sitcom sounds right from the new iMessage app! You can also send fun stickers in the iMessage app. But we didn't stop there... Sitcom has an all new widget and if your device supports it you can 3D Touch into the Sitcom icon for instant access to the Sitcom widget! But we didn't stop there... Sitcom has an all new watchOS app! We noticed that it can take up to 5-10 seconds to load up a Sitcom sound on the Apple Watch and we strived to make this faster. That being said, the new watch app is in pre-release and can be accessed via a Force Touch Gesture. We would love your feedback. The original watchOS app is still presented when you first launch the app.

Gone but Not Forgotten:
•iAds are no longer supported in iOS so Sitcom has transitioned to Google Ads

New Features:
iPad wanted to join in the fun so we created a new iPad version of the application.

Look and Feel:
Sitcom has a new app icon for iOS, watchOS, and tvOS!
The tvOS version of the application lent the iOS version its curtains.

Bug Fixes:
On occasion when rotating the app to landscape it showed an ugly animation containing white boxes.
The buttons didn't scale correctly in landscape mode.
iAd banner didn't display correctly in landscape mode.

iAd Banner:
We have noticed that the iAd Banner was a little restless so we broke out the industrial strength super glue so now it shouldn't leave its place.

Sitcom now works great on your iPhone and iPod touch! Enjoy all those sound effects on your pocket computer.
Sitcom now runs natively on tvOS! If you have the 4th generation Apple TV you can now add Sitcom sound effects to your life right from your TV.

Look and Feel:
Since Sitcom runs natively on iOS devices, we felt that it was time to improve the design. Sitcom for iOS now takes cues from the watchOS version with nice rounded buttons.

We broke out the duct tape and slapped a shiny iAd banner at the bottom of the iOS application.
