Ahoy, there! This version brings some highly requested features and fixes some gameplay bugs.
NEW:
- Variable cards counts! You can choose from any of the game modes listed in the manual by going to the settings page
- Display cards to be dealt on the game views. This should prevent you from needing to look up how many cards per round to deal!
- Show current game mode and scoring method before starting a game
- Added a Rate the App button to FAQ. Not planning on prompting for reviews, so please review the app!
- Added a tip jar. Won't prompt for this either, but some kind users have requested it.
FIXED:
- No longer can you spam the next round button. With round starting alerts being skipped sometimes, it wasn't obvious a new round had started. Slow down, please.
- Loot card bonus applies when a zero-bid is successful. No more points plundered by the app!
- Rascal of Roatan pirate ability bet is now deducted if your bid is incorrect. No more dodging the plundering of bonus points.
NOTE:
- Some confusion over the Rascal of Roatan pirate ability not showing on the score cards. Ensure that "Special Pirate Abilities" is enabled in the settings!

Clean and Easy
Thanks so much for making this score card for Skull King! I love the clean and easy interface! It includes most of the options and info from the latest version of Skull King, the only thing it is missing is a way to indicate that the Kraken and/or White Whale are included in the game, and a way to indicate their use and scores in a round. I’ve read the Skull King rules and I understand adding these, especially the White Whale is easier said than done. It would be great to know if you plan to add those—perhaps the white whale could be a score override field, and the Kraken could be a “Kraken Played” slider at the top of each round? I will tip again for it! Thanks! (PS: I don’t have Twitter so had to request here.)

Easy Scorekeeping!
This app is fantastic for keeping score and avoiding all the math that previously took me at least 5 minutes between rounds. This helps with a much more seamless game play. It even allows for the Rascal of Rotan bid and loot earnings! The only thing I would love to see with this app in the future that it doesn’t currently offer is an option to save game progress in case we need to take a break in the middle of the game or want to see past game history.

Life Changing
I don’t want to get emotional about it, but this game has changed my life in so many ways. It’s given my life more meaning, more joy, and more peace from my problems. The app really puts the “king” in Skull King, and makes the game so much more enjoyable. I am a physician and if there’s one thing that could cure depression completely, it would be this app.

Love the app but
Great app. However it needs a way to restore a game if the app suddenly crashes. Got through 8 hands and the app crashed back to the Home Screen. That was horrible. In a game that has 10 hands and takes about 90 minutes to play, there needs to be some kind of backup.

Good app, but I think I spotted an error
Works great! But I believe it doesn’t give loot points if the person bet zero and got zero. Only if they get nonzero and get it. Hope it gets fixed.

Works week and intuitive
Works well and has all bonuses. It seems, though, that tricks won are only being scored as 10 points and not as 20 points.

Frustrating
This app worked perfectly for about 2 games while we were on vacation with friends. The next time we played, one person’s score was completely and obviously wrong on round 9. Last night on round 9 one friend’s score completely disappeared! The only thing it listed was her name! I really like the idea of the app and the way it’s set up makes scoring easy, but only when it works.

Good at keeping score… but crashes a lot
It’s great at keeping score but it has no way to save games so if you go away from the app for more than a few seconds there a good chance it’s gonna close out your game right in the middle… which is beyond frustrating.

Just missing one item
Need a way to add your wager, or minus wager for the pirate that has that ability. Also when you bid zero and add a loot it doesn’t give you the points.

Great app
The best score app for skull king game. It just need to save names and add custom cards numbers and round numbers to be perfect.
If you want to stick to the game manual rules, this will save your time and mind doing the calculations.
