Read before getting
This is amazing! you can easily chat with friends, even if there are far away, or add to your story to show your friends and only your friends, and it’s way more safe than any other social media app, For instance because it’s only shared to your friends not strangers that go around bugging. you can also tag people in your story to stay connected with friends and family across the world. video chats and video calls have amazing quality however, it does not work Well if you’re on a call and are using other apps, that is totally fine I don’t think this app needs updates at all if you’re considering getting this, I think one thing to watch out for is your a “public profile” you have an option to make one of these but personally I would suggest don’t post your face or anything like that on your public profile. However, it is your option and not mine. so if you were thinking about getting Snapchat, I think this is a great app to use text or call or video chat. also, there’s so many different contact creators on Snapchat that post videos and in contact for you to enjoy. so obviously, there’s so much to do you can customize your own avatar. and make the group chat with multiple people. this is an amazing happened. I highly suggest using it to connect with other people around the world.

Great app… but with weird things
I love Snapchat. I’ve had it for almost 4 years now. It’s a great way to message your best friends and send them moments of your life you cherish! When I got it, I liked how the bitmojis looked and were cartoonish. They let you express yourself in ways you might not be comfortable with doing in real life. But, like 2 years ago they added 3D bitmojis. I didn’t mind them at first, they seemed like a new way to show yourself off to others. After a while they started to look creepy to me, like why are they so hyper-realistic? It’s a texting app, it doesn’t need to be that realistic, and by realistic, I mean they looked weird. But a few weeks ago they updated them again, and they somehow look worse than before. And if you are going to keep updating as usual, please, make it so the 3D bitmojis are Snapchat+ ONLY. As long as we’re on Snapchat+ only, why don’t I mention the terrible AI feature that creepy, unnecessary and inconvenient. Why is it pinned at the top of my chats? Why is it there in the first place. The point of Snapchat is to message and talk to real people, not robots, so why have them in the first place. If you’re going to add that feature, make it snapchat+ only. Not everyone wants that. Back to bitmojis, at least give us an option to turn the 3D on or off. That would be so nice. Anyways, how you take this review into consideration and follow what the app users want and not what you want.

so basically ngl i like using this app but there are a few complaints to make. like the first one is what’s with this glitch sort of when i’m in the camera area not even trying to take a pic sometimes when im X out or going in it happens. it only happened on this app. my phone would suddenly freeze and then turn off and none of the apps close out so when i go back on snap it has the camera completely black as it did when u first open it for the few seconds. and u take a pic u can’t see what ur taking pictures of until u press the take pic button. it’s fixed when u close and reopen the app. another thing is sometimes that happens and the camera area turns pink. another thing i have to say is please remove my ai or give us the ability to at least delete it off our profiles because it’s weird for it to constantly be on top of your chat feed and you can’t even remove it. it’s really rude and there are time where if u send ur ai snaps it’s just gonna say sorry i experienced a technical issue. so please get rid of it or at the bare minimum give the user the ability to delete it or unfriend it. but other than those it’s a really good app and a great way to keep in touch with friends. and the lenses are fun to use. and i like the idea of Snapstreaks so other than those complaints I’d say that it’s a good app and something you should try downloading. it’s fun to use.

Love it but it’s just getting worse
I’ve had Snapchat for so long now and all these new updates are getting out of hand. For one I know I’m not the only one that says this the new bitmojis and all the changes to make them look more realistic is honestly gross looking. Everyone I know and I always hear others talk abt how awful it looks because quite frankly it makes EVERYONE look awful, less realistic to their actual selves, and overall dumb. Also the new ai feature that NO BODY can get rid of unless you get snap+ isn’t fair. Not every person wants to have an ai bot spying on them. Personally I think Snapchat needs to have a feature to choose what bitmoji look you want to have like the hyper realistic one can be for the ones who want it. I also think that you should be able to not have ai. Now I’m not saying some people don’t like the ai but not everyone does so everyone should have the option not to have it. Let’s not forget that the games we had but got rid of because of the bitmoji. Me personally I want them back I loved playing them with my friends. Although I can say I wish there also was more hair options since there’s never one that looks like me. Thank you for listening and I hope you will take the opportunity to give us back our old bitmojis and not the weird looking ones.

New avatars are horrific
I generally like snapchat, the features it has is great, but the recent change of the avatars/bitmojis whatever they’re called now … Not Good 😀
It makes the faces look distorted and horrific, I didn’t mind the change to 3D that we got last time but the actual models were fine.. now they aren’t. I’ve genuinely considered taking mine down because I can’t get it to look right at all and using different poses doesn’t even help because it just distorts the face and makes the mouths especially really small. Plus the noses look so off and strange on the faces now, it’s ridiculous. It’s just really off putting ?? I feel like y’all could’ve still made improvements to customization while still keeping the previous 3D models.. But the changes made recently are terrible and definitely effects the quality of it overall.
I’m more generous than others with the 2 stars I see because a lot of people aren’t happy with the new avatar changes. I love this app and I personally love MyAI it’s helped me a LOT also I love how I have my camera roll and a Snapchat camera roll❤️but please remove the new 3d bitmoji update I don’t like how I look at all😭also I really wish you guys added more fashion accessories like: 1. jewelry💍 besides earrings like, Necklaces, bracelets, and anklets(if you do please add a silver chain necklace) 2. more poses🧍🏽♀️! 3. bags/backpacks🎒 I feel like that would also tie an outfit together😌 4. disgusting app and not original
OK let me put this out there first. I love the idea that Snapchat allows me to save memories from years ago and so I don’t have to save them to my library and use up more storage. It’s a nice way of being able to stay in contact with friends and family who may or may not live close. However, Snapchat has become such a repetitive app you go to the for you page and it is the same things over and over again it’s like everyone doesn’t know how to be original anymore and they just copy each other. I swear I go on there and I see the same stuff that I’ve seen two or three years ago. Second of all, if I didn’t have so many memories saved on the app, I would delete it. I recently came across a page on the for you page that was apalling. I believe it was called unfiltered stories, and I didn’t realize what it was about. There were no warnings and then it started talking about child abuse in a way that should not be put on an app that kids use. I do not recommend this app. I really think this app needs to be advertised as an 18 years and older. A lot of the stuff on there is false information, repetitive stories and inappropriate content that even as an adult I can’t seem to watch.

Im going to post more bad reviews until Snap actually cares about the issue
After years of having Snapchat since my 10th birthday account was banned on my 16th birthday a bit ago due to “se**ual activity with a minor.” I’m a minor with no memory of such content… ever. I lost so many good conversations on there, and there’s so many people who I can no longer contact. I appealed this, and it’s telling me it may take up to 30 days. I’ve also looked at reviews, and it appears that when this happens you usually don’t get their account back for years. I no longer get to see puppies I’ve sold, or old friends I’ve made, or old conversations I’ve had with friends who have passed. I’ve talked to customer service through email, and they’re not helpful. They only give you information you already know, and I’m pretty sure it’s all generated by AI. Snapchat doesn’t care about it’s people. It doesn’t care when they restrict you or who you are…they just care that they still have precious money coming in at billions and millions of dollars. They care about those who give them profit. They won’t even let me recreate an account. Users, if you see this save all of your snap information through another platform, like Google photos, lest you lose everything. Someone fix this at Snapchat, unless you want to lose all of your users one day. I’m not going to stop speaking up until they learn to care and stop being greedy. Thank you for your time. ~Z

Snap has a bug and they won’t fix it!!
I went into Snapchat one morning to find myself logged out. After entering my password, a screen saying my account was locked for allegedly “violating community guidelines” popped up. I was severely confused because I felt like I didn’t do anything wrong. After reviewing the guidelines, I couldn’t think of anything I did to warrant my account being locked so I decided to do further research. Turns out a friend of a friend had her account locked for allegedly “violating community guidelines” as well despite not doing anything against the guidelines. Throughout the next week, I did extensive research and contacted anyone I could via twitter and etc but I was disappointed with the lack of actual help I was receiving. I finally tried to unlock my account but to my dismay it is permanently locked. This was my worst case scenario as my Snapchat account had many friends I no longer could talk to in person and who’s number I did not have. After moving halfway across the country, our dog dying, and almost dying myself due to an eating disorder, Snapchat was one of the only ways I could contact some of my friends. Snapchat was great until it completely betrayed me and now they claim, after giving me terrible assistance, (if you can even call it that) that there is nothing more they can do for me. This is your app. You should be able to fix it, or at least stop this bug so it doesn’t mess with anyone else’s life.

CHANGE THE BITMOJIS BACK TO NORMAL 3D
i’ve used snapchat for years now, i never saw a problem with anything until these past few months. i’ve noticed that the snapchat bitmoji changed and that we got a creepy AI which i think got hacked about 1 or 2 months ago, but i will start with my first issue. The bitmojis. the bitmojis are ugly and look like an elephant just sat on my face, no one likes them that’s why your reviews are going down, you should change them back to how they were, no one had a problem with the bitmojis until you guys wanted a rino sitting on our faces making them look flat, now everyone doesn’t like the new bitmoji and what will you do when u have a 1.1 rating on your app? it wouldn’t be good for your business, and let me get started with the creepy AI that snapchat added a few months ago. the snapchat AI is pinned on top of our chats and we can’t unpin them unless we have snapchat+ (no one really has it or uses it because it’s pointless) and i think it’s weird we have a snap AI, i mean what do we even use it for? it’s creepy and weird and i think you guys should remove it, or atleast let people with no snapchat+ unpin it. snapchat was better without all these different changes, i don’t care if it’s just 2, no one really likes them. my biggest issue were the bitmojis. so please re read that little important paragraph again and again and again until you understand what the people want. thank you for your time.
