really great snaps and easy to use
I had been using another app that came with my camera but a lot of frames would not come out well- they were too blurry. I purchased this and was somewhat skeptical because I had purchased another that was hard to use. I was very pleased at how easy it was to figure out, how well the snaps came out and how quickly I could get it done.
I have some underwater videos and can't wait to try it out on those.

Everything I was looking for and more!
After spending 8 hours trying to take screen-grabs from some high quality vidoes I took today, I turned to SnapMotion. Within five minutes, I had uploaded all my videos and had already processed my first one! Every aspect of the process is streamlined and easy to use. SnapMotion has been an unbelievable gamechanger in how I'll be editing video clips from now on.

A good, solid resource
Works as advertised. You can set the frequency at which it takes snaps, it accepts plenty of files at one time, and it's simple to use. The only complaint I have is that the speed-adjustment feature that you can use for manual snapping doesn't work in batch mode. If you're taking snaps of an action scene, you may get a few blurry ones in the mix.

Great for capturing video stills
A great little program that I use for taking video stills from videos I record.
PROS:
-Fast
-Lightweight
-Can skip backwards and forwards by frame
-The Batch feature is very handy and powerful
-Can handle most video formats I use
-It's never crashed on me once
CONS:
-Has a problem handling movie files with variable framerates (it jitters), have to convert with Handbrake first.
-Program doesn't remember your audio settings, always reverts to 50%.
WISHLIST:
-Basic basic image adjustment features like brightness, saturation, gamma, and contrast.
-A "compare" view bringing up two (or more) videos in one window for comparing videos (i.e. when exporting from Final Cut to scrub through mutliple videos and compare different quality settings).
All in all I use this program nearly everyday and love it!

terrific app
Super well designed and effecient app. It is very flexible, and can be modified on the run for many different uses. I spent many hours searching through "subscription" services which were not nearly as well designed, so I was surprised to see the perfect app available in the app store. Don't hesititate to buy it.

This program is awesome! I am not a techy person and I was able to import my grand daughters gymnastic show and clip picture easily from the video. WOW! Maybe I will even try editing video clips with thisk program. Thank yo so much Jeremy for a very easyl product to use. Much appreciated.

It does it all
I have spent hours trying to find an app that will grab every nth frame from a video. I have used SnapMotion for many years in the manual mode. I just discovered Batch Mode. That did what I needed in a very short time. This is a fantastic app!

Powerful tool for frame grabs
Lots of uses for this application! I love the flexibility it gives me to pull frames at fine-grain intervals, save them in the format I want and place them where I want. Thanks for a great app!

Totally worth your time!
I decided to give this a try as I pull stills from vids al the time. This app is so easy and the pics pulled from my vids are fantastic. Love the app and would recommend anyone to give a try!

Batch process
Provides acurate way to select thumbnails from one video. But the app also has a nice option and interface for making a few thumbnails to hundreds of thumbnails in a batch extreamly quick. Well worth the purchase.
