Snoppa Hack 3.2.2 + Redeem Codes

I do wish that you could use another device such as table or another phone to remote control the gimbal. If there is a way I have not yet found it. Other then that it works.

It's a good app but not good enough yet.

I love the face and object tracking function, it doing better than I'm using Zhi-Yun.

Here's something of my opinions 😔

1. The video file’s name and metadata information could fill better, especially what I need a capture machine info in the metadata, for videos settlement.

2. Hope it could add a button of wireless charging function on the interface, I don't use this function often so I want to put other function on the physical button, but if I did, when I need wireless charging, I have no way to turn it on, the only way is to rest it back to a physical button;

3. A ”very slow” selection of zoom/focus speed function. The ”slow” still got a little bit fast for some scenes.

3. A selection to choose multiple languages.

The M1 gimbal is a nice solid piece of kit, in weight and looks, and it (mostly) does a good job of holding the phone up. For a while.

When I first got it, I shot using my 7 and 7 Plus. I haven’t used it for months, but went to prepare for a documentary trip. The app won’t connect over Bluetooth on the Plus on iOS 12.4.1, and the gimbal slowly drifts without an easy way to correct it. Looks like the app hasn’t been updated since 2016, so there may be some subtle framework compatibility issues that could be fixed if somebody spent a couple of hours on it.

And devs, the fake 5-star reviews certainly aren’t helping things.

It would be great for all Atom users to have an option for selecting lock mode with a press of a button or cycle just like the M1 instead of press and holding it. When you put the Atom on a monopod and want to raise it up high, you lose the ability to do that since you can’t hold it anymore. It would slowly drift left or right either in follow mode or full follow mode.

The app controls the Atom gimbal just fine. However, it is unreliable when it comes to saving video. I have had multiple instances where it “failed to save video.” These of course occur when recording non-repeatable events like dance recitals or musical performances.

As nice as the Atom gimbal is, I’d rather use the iOS Camera app to be sure the video I record actually saves. I’ve missed out on too many memories to trust the Snoppa app.

All the shooting modes are crap. Time lapse mode has very weird movement even though set up correctly. Landscape mode stops in the midway randomly. Face tracking and object tracking are slow, barely work, and lost the reference image easily. Most importantly, the gimbal drifts even though it’s placed on a stable surface. And no matter how many time I do the level calibration, the gimbal’s always tilt. Where did you get your developer and UX designer? High school?

The device is very nice, however, they need to update this app for better functionality including connectivity. Also, the quality of the video is not very good at all. They may lose customers (or not get any news ones at all) to a better and similar device if they don’t do something soon.

The Snoppa Atom gimbal is great, except for the clamp. The groove is too thin, the jaws are too narrow. Activates control buttons.
The app works well, except for object tracking. That one basically doesn’t work at all. Fortunately I don’t use the app for actual video capture. I use Filmic Pro, though I prefer Mavis lately.

I got the gimbal on the way out of the country for a remote shoot. After shooting several irreplaceable videos, I found that the footage was unusable due to dropping frames even on a new iPhone 8. Had to run the App in the background (for device control) and film with the phone’s camera app.

The app works well when it works. I have an issue keeping it connected to the gimbal as it keeps disconnecting. It stayed connected and worked well at first, but now it keeps disconnecting from the gimbal and not recording or anything.
